Without really wanting to sound pessimistic (who am I kidding?) 'some months' is a really long time in terms of an MMO. It's enough time for players to reach the lvl 250 caps in multiple skills, get decent sized guilds, amass some wealth and start having regular OP battles or pure PvP battles; but it's also enough time for players to leave due to whatever reason on both servers, Nevrax' creditors suddenly deciding they no longer want to go along afterall, and the possibility of delivering content that's either a) broken, b) half-implemented, c) simply not, at all.riveit wrote:Let's hope that Nevrax is right and enough new players will join to justify Cho. Then after some months, Cho and Arispotle will both be established and new players will join either server in roughly equal numbers.
Afterall, 'some months' and Patch 1 didn't do the old Windermeer server any good. I hope they learned from those experiences.

Re: Cho - The shard for the Kamis?
Alot of new players have been joining recently. R2, Cho and the Kitin lair (I believe) are all good things to attract new players, unlike Patch 1 which drove them away. Let's keep our fingers crossed.calel wrote:Without really wanting to sound pessimistic ...

Wow, I could have wrote this whole post Kyerna... We still have things sprung on us and have little idea what the future holds. It is so strange that no matter how things change, things stay the same. The future of Cho is absolutely on the players shoulders and I wish them luck but expect to hear similar issues coming from there as time passes...calel wrote:Afterall, 'some months' and Patch 1 didn't do the old Windermeer server any good.
