Hosting offer for your ring map

Post by jezabel »

Hello.

I am from Aniro and offer you to host your ring maps (must be gamemasterless). I will be very busy for the next months but I can run Ryzom on my second computer while working.

- upload your scenario on a website like http://rapidshare.de/ and give us your link.
- give us the title, levels, language and faction limitations...
- give us your toon name (will be indicated in the title of the map)

If you want me to run your map anonymously, give me all this info by PM.

I can also translate your map in french for the Aniro's players.

Only problem is that someone still needs to be active in the game to invite players to the scenario. So I don't see how you can run more than one scenario at a time.

We are two now hosting ring maps and we can run maps 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

We will not always present the same ring map, so numbers of map is not a problem.

At the moment I only have one masterless ring map. The first day I run it, 16 peoples play it.

Yeah, until there's an auto-invite feature I don't see how this works.

When I work, I have my second computer running next to me.
I run the ring map on it.
When someone wants to come in, I see the popup and accept the request.

Not so hard. Everyone not playing, with a second computer at hand can do it.

We cannot.
Only one by account and we have 2 accounts at disposal.

But we will switch every few hours between the maps we have. For now we doesn't switch at all because we have only one map.

You do not need someone to be on if masterless scenario i think:
first person to go in have the "control"and manage invites it seems:
happened to me in example scenarios

I am sure you would all be glad to know that as advertised in the News, Monday's patch will include the auto-invite function :)
