It is the plan of MaDuk to cause those regions to be non harvestable. He has his reasons and they will become clear when the time is needed.katriell wrote:*snicker* The Kamis are hypocrites. Were you not here in the temple wars when they encouraged their followers to overharvest, allowing them to do so freely by no longer killing harvesters, and then in typical form blamed it all on the Karavan even though both had equal fault in permanently depleting three regions?
Preserving the equilibrium of Atys and such is a wonderful idea. Too bad the primary proponents of it decided constructing temples to themselves was more important.

Well,so neutruals have the hardest status and yet they don't fight(except maybe in arena GvG etc) (But I meen the main faction wars)901941 wrote:IC: I disagree. Neutrals play a huge part in the balance. They have rights like any other homin. They have the hardest status quote on Atys. And they do take a stand or they wouldnt be Neutrals otherwise.
How hard could it be?

Neutrals can fight in OP wars, in duels, in the Matis arena, and in all pvp areas (Nexus and Lands of Umbra).

Re: Come and Rise!! The Neutrals must make a stand!
You make many assumptions of both followers of Karavan and Kami; I have not been ordered to fight or destroy Karavan wherever I find them - that stems from the actions of the extremely devout and their own interpretations. I agree with the reverence of Atys, and thus I follow their teachings; the words ring true upon contemplation and meditation, and thus my own doubts are settled on that score. No amount of red-in-the-face shouting or "facts" - the Kami depleted a source, did they? I assume you wear no leather...- will change this.
At the same time, the mask I wear has holes cut out for me to see through for a reason. I fight the Goo, and the kitin where I find them. I harvest, and kill when necessary. Kami-follower I may be, but I am no crusader. Each instruction I am given, I contemplate and meditate upon, and then make my own choice...as do we all. None have ever been commanded to "slay or beware". Conscious choice is made, and even the renounciation of one's beliefs can also be made (though why Zorai of the Karavan still wear masks is something a greater mind than I can find answer to).
To call for the unthinking, knee-jerk rebellion against all you do not agree with is no better than the "call for slaughter" from either belief system. This is as much a "faction" of conflict as any other.
If you fight the Goo, I fight alongside you. If you fight the Kitin, the same. If you defend from destructive Fire, there too you shall find me. But a crusade from any side is one I refuse to partake of.
You do not propose freedom, but anarchy...there are too many variables, too many concerns, and unfortunately homins ARE homins, unenlightened creatures incapable of looking beyond their own squabbles for longer than three sunsets.
When enlightenment is achieved, when all threats are removed by a effort of all homin-kind, when homin-kind can put itself beyond the digging up of old wounds and hurts, then, and only then, could we turn our attention to this "stand" you speak of, if it is so very necessary.
I will concern myself with my own deeds and actions to work toward that end. It would behoove us all to do the same, rather than to squabble about what the other side is doing according to our own perceptions.
I bid you peace, and may the Sap flow in your spirit freely.

Re: Come and Rise!! The Neutrals must make a stand!
There are new lands awaiting settlement.
If some of these can be claimed before the factions or the current civilisations do then perhaps a new nation can be built free of the mistakes of the past and the tension of the present.
We've already made a start.

Re: Come and Rise!! The Neutrals must make a stand!
The portal was always there, but it was covered by rocks on both sides. This made travel from Fyros to Zora and from Zora to Fyros impossible through that portal, but it was still there.andypur1 wrote:But, arn't the portals between the lands created by a fusion of Kami magic and Karavan technology. Zok can remember when there was no portal between Dunes of Exile (South of Dyron in Fyros) and The Great Outback (Western edge of Zora)
If you remember correctly, it was homins that destroyed the kitins protecting the tunnels, it was homins who got rid of the rocks, and it was homins who made that portal open to all.
What made the portal originally, I can not say.

This could be the answer we have been searching for. I would be absolutly thrilled if I can help in anyway!
Though there is one problem...
What of the Kami and Karavan? They will want there own lands too, and so, it will turn into a territorial civil war between Homins to conquer lands for their nation...
If only there was a way to create a world free for the Homins, without the influences of outer-worldly forces...

Then can try, but we figure they care more about the current main centre of civilisation, until they destroy it that is... I'll have more information soon.zangan wrote:Though there is one problem...

Hmm, very possibly so..grimjim wrote:Then can try, but we figure they care more about the current main centre of civilisation, until they destroy it that is... I'll have more information soon.
The very least we can do is try.
I look forward to the information.
