I'm actually right now in the process of signing up for the paying version of this game, as the trial version impressed me considerably. I've still got a good weeks' worth of play on the island even so, I imagine as I'm going slowly and taking my time to enjoy and just generally faff about.

Will be a pity to say goodbye to the friends I've made on the isle as we all go to different cities, but I hope to meet up with them again soon.

Awesome! If your Fyros we can duo it up. No surnames isn't too bad though, just have to use our imaginations! *Rubs temples and flares eyes* Umm anyways, I loved the Matis for their looks, but didn't bond with their lore, if ya know what I mean. I had a big background made up for my character so that he'd be, in a way, Fyrosian, but that didn't work out too well. Okay, well anyways, if any of you need any help with anything I'll be ingame, although you might not find me that helpful. =P

I'm actually playing a Zorai and I'm having loads of fun playing the mystic-Confucian type at the moment. It's also quite a challenge to play a character whose face is behind a mask. You have to remember people can't see a smile, only your eyes...adds to the mystical/offputting part of playing the type. I didn't make brilliant choices when I was levelling and getting experience, and I've considered starting from scratch, but the perk is all I really need to do is keep accepting missions, then I can put points into what I want - no real need to recreate oneself unless you want to try a whole new race.

A group of us are roleplaying on the trial island - rejoice, there are a LOT of roleplayers making their way to Ryzom right now - and as far as I know I'm the only roleplaying Zorai. Adds to the hermit-like quality of my character in a way, but looking forward to being around other mystic-minded Zorai types if they exist, and learning a bit more about how to play it.

Anyway, now counting down for servers to get back up!

I'll do that ASAP. Unfortunately though that won't be too soon, since I'm restarting as a Matis again. I know, I know. I can't stand those damned sideburns. So annoying! Oh well, thats not why I restarted, I made some bad skill choices. Enough said right? My name, yet again, is Sayfer.

I wouldn't worry too badly about skill choices at the lower levels, you'll get lots of skill points from the various branches within the 4 lines of skill to make up for anything you might have done in the lower levels.

But, if you are going Matis... look me up in Yrkanis when you get to mainland!
