I voted "yes" because I will be making an alt or two on Cho. I'm addicted to alt-making. But I won't be "jumping ship" - I have three favorite characters on Arispotle.

Jelathnia, Kasarinia, KianShi, Maethro, ShuaLi, and OPaxie (Arispotle)

I voted no for various reasons, personally I rather see Olca live to the end in a 'world' he was born. Secondly if everyone jumps to Cho that will definitely seal the fate of Arispotle. The third reason is that, I just recently took over my brother's account and to be plainly honest I am not bored with Arispotle at all yet...as before that I had only played beta *^.^*

If it was a designated PvE or RP server, otherwise no.

I still wonder why they open up a new server, the servers (especialy jungle) is mostly empty and you can go by hours without seeing someone. So it depends on what most will do, if more then 50% moves over I'll move over as well sinse playing on a fully empty server isn't my favourite thing to do.

I'm pretty new to arispotle. My highest skill is only 105. I haven't even needed to buy an apartment yet. Still, even though I don't have near as much to leave behind as most, I'm not intrested in cho. I can understand why some are but for me there is no attraction to it. For me there is still so much to do on arispotle and my friends are there too.

I m not going there, cos I like the community we got on Arispotle. and a part from the "virgin aspect" of the land (no ubber chars yet), nothing really attracts me there (nothing I couldn't find here).
Plus I don't want to put aside my 2 chars just to go to another server, even a virgin one.

I wont go over to Cho, because Cho is not Leanon (in my case) as it was when we startet to get from the 4 Newbieislands to explore Atys.

Some reasons:

1. game has changed dramatically by adding a lot of new features - which have a deep impact on playstile and added a special urge to level up
2. game has less bugs like the blind bug, which allowed us to trek very early in levels and provided us with great adventures - so there was a special charme about it that Cho hasn't ;)
3. on Cho there will be a ot of experienced players who will make the leveling for Cats a high speed race - and they will drag the newbies along with them to build up strong guilds for the outposts...
4. I'm already experienced on Atys so I would not play the game as I did when I was a noob - which of course was mainly the reason I had so much fun :)
5. Atys was "rebuild" to have highlevel content and it was made as easy as possible for the players to get there and participate in it.

You remember the outpost ruines full of kitins? The Kitinpatrols? The player-events as we were low in levels? All the changes to the game that had us occupied for weeks to adapt to them? The kitin-raids? The developement of the storyline?

We "old" players would change to a world where all we lived through on our old servers never happend and we would be stuck with low levels but nothing to explore, nothing to learn new... we would already know what's in front of us to get the levels again we had on Ari/Leanon etc. ... crowding a new server and becoming the king of the hill is something I really don't like about WoW - and I do not like it here either :)

I could talk more about that with a lot more examples in mind, but I'll just say:

The fun we had and have leveling and living an Atys from the beginning of its existance to today won't be there on Cho, the experience would be completely different and much shorter in time. So even if I could have fun there with grinding again... it would last only a couple months, not 2 years and could never be as rich of adventures and experiences as it was on Leanon.

I wont leave my server, and i wont try Cho out either, i like Arispotle.

Too bad its gonna be empty when Cho launches, but while you all powerlvl
your huntteams and sup diggers, you gonna get even more bored when you
see its all the same grind but different server.

I rather see the devs enlarge Atys 10 times, new lands, new mobs and rasie the lvl cap to 500 :)

I look forward to checking out Cho. This will bring me back to the days of beta (except I think I know what i'm doing a bit better this time around... I think) with everyone starting on the same, level playing field. Not that it took me very long to Master Heal and a few other important skills.

And the prospect of making my toon the way I had him set up in Beta is something I've always regretted during my time of Live gameplay (RL buddy wanted to go Matis back when there was 4 nooby islands).
