Would still matter Keiko. 21 is the drinking age not 18. At 18 you still can't legally enter most bars.

It depends, some bars are 18+ and some are 21+, but I think we'd want someplace other than a bar anyway :) Maybe a cafe, internet cafe even better. But specifics like that will have to wait til we have figured out what city we're having it in.

Well, drinking..not my thing. In America, I could enter a bar at 18 if I were deemed "designated driver." Knowing you...You'd soo need me :)

Ooh, I haven't visited Toronto in a while. That would be nice. :)

Hey everyone .. just found this thread! VERY excited about hte concept of a NA get together ... especially the possibility of a Nevrax endorsed one!

The only thing that really makes me hesitant is hearing things like January ... and Chicago .... used together .... I mean ... if we're talking January ... what happened to that mention of Texas :)

cold time of year -> warm place for gathering :)

Austin is actually a fairly good location for this kind of thing. Food, lodging, airports and entertainment are reasonably priced and readily available. The weather is also pretty decent as long as we're not talking summertime.

Whereever it is, sounds like fun if I can get the time and funding together at the same time as the event :)

Well, the timing of the event has yet to be established, we are waiting for word from Nevrax regarding their thoughts, feelings, opinions, etc etc etc before we start thinking of where and when. We want to ensure that our European friends can attend if they so choose, so the location will most likely be where most easily accessible for the majority of potential attendees :)

I'm very excited to see that people are getting amped up about this... should be a heck of a good time!

well lets see my thoughts on this whole thing,.I'm definately down with whole IRL meeting, my thoughts on locations are places like Orlando or Atlanta,..
Atlanta's a bit pricey but cheaper by leaps and bounds then manhattan and also a major travel hub,.. Orlando,. would not be a bad choice for a winter type meeting its central florida so the temperature is nominal,.. and being winter,.. its not the tourist season so the hotels are actually affordable and orlando's a pretty big travel hub,.. and theres a lot to do there,.. not to mention *cough* its about 2 hours from my place.. though I dont drive so,.. doesnt matter I'll just have my ryzom buddy drive me :P chicago is a nice Idea but hell no to that in the winter,..
these are just my thoughts
