I give up

Post by prepin »

basically what the title says, i give up with this game.

Theirs nothing to do, its just grind fest up to 250, and then maybe OP's which really doesnt seem that impressive. Ive tried roleplaying, but theirs nothing to roleplay, it seems like its just an endless world of mobs

The community while nice, is small, and on the mainland i rarely run into anyone, but for me a good community doesnt make a game fun, especially since i only have 2-3 hours a day to play any mmo. If i want to hangout with a good community for a game id play second life.

I know the game is sandbox, but theirs nothing I can set myself to do, especially at low lvls except grind. Theirs nothing to see in this game really...cliffs...valleys..trees..slightly interesting but once seen its just another brick in the wall, so exploration in this game is not really amazing *tho the idea of treks was a good one*

And last, this game is not very good for noobs, cuz as said before its just a grind till you can hang with the big boys, and during that grind at the beginning you will find no one to help you or group with, unless you have a decent guild that isnt in the middle of somthing.

The whole expirence of this game once i got to the mainland was frustrating in every way. Maybe i missed somthing idk, i dont have the time tho to put hours on end lfg and barely albe to solo grind.

Here we go again...

You did miss something: you missed everything. It's just not the game for you, so no point in arguing with you or such. Good bye.

and what exactly is everything i missed? Immersing myself in the game? Theirs nothing to immerse in. THe ryzom ring would've been interesting, but again at my lvl their are no instances open.

ive asked before what is the fun thing about this game and i never get a real direct answer, so as far as im aware their is nothing beyond what ive expirenced

It can look pointless in the beginning, Prepin. I wont argue with you on that.

However, once you decide what to do in the game it's much more complex and not at all a 250-grind. And get into a nice guild, too.

But if you don't like the game, then you don't like it.

Lowlevel treking is fun - and it is possible to get to other lands while still low level. Very difficult though. Take time and learn the mobs behaviour.

Boss fights are fun.

Prospecting near aggros is fun.

Lots of other stuff too - but these are the funnest. :)

i cant exactly get into any boss fights at my lvl, and especially w/o a group, which was close to near impossible to find, and still is just like grinding, only against somthing that wont die as easy. and prospecting near aggros is still just grinding when you look at it. Clear the area of aggros/wait for them to migrate then rake in a few mats be4 they come back, seemingly frustrating by just the sound of it...and repititive...

If those are the top 2 things to do then im sorry to say but they did an excellent job advertising this game, they made up alot of stuff that really isnt in game its starting to seem like..=/

Bosses are nothing like mobs with extra HP. As with everything here - beating them requires experimenting and knowledge. Some are very tricky.
And - any level healer is better than no healer. Get in a guild and go hunting. Forget level 250.

Others enjoy PVP more than me and might say PVP is to die for.

Edit: digging near aggros doesn't include killing them. Your focus wont get up until they respawn

Another angry new comer.

I'm a new comer and I can't see why everone gets so worked up about this game?!

I'm level 70ish so grinding isn't a huge part if you don't want it to be. What does the Ring not have for lower level players than higher ones? A few maps? I personally spend nearly all my time in there while talking in the guild.

No way to role-play?!?!
This game thee best story I have ever seen, Two fractions emersed in mystery using homins to fight each other. Umm....What CAN'T you role play?!
This game takes a little imagination maybe, but just because it isn't a 'go talk to npc 1 and I'll give you 500ex. game' doesn't mean there is nothing to it!!

If you can't see any of it the please move along.

I have only seen 2 -4 scenarios actually open on the ring, and even then they were 100+. What goods a 51 lvl there?

The story while interesting, advances no where in game, unless the dev's decide to throw an event, which even then is once again typically only fun, or even accesible for the higher lvls. The game is a grind, and even once you've made it to the top, theirs very little to do, even tho they left the game extremely open. Kill bosses? then what OP again? no, ill explore the prime roots! again!

Despite what people told me this game is not as diffrent as people claimed it to be. saying it offers alot to do is a joke, unless you find killing izams as opposed to yubos diffrent because the izams can evade more!!! which is pathetic almost.
