Attempting to get onto chat.ryzom.com

I'm on a linux machine and I want to get onto Klients or at least the service mentioned above. I get onto the server well enough when I try 'telnet chat.ryzom.com 6002', but then I get binned out as I'm not a registered user.

Which username do i use to get onto here...It seems it is not my forum or game login?

Your game login and password are used when accessing klients. Use port 6001 if you want to access Arispotle (English) chat channel.
