Not a typo. See number of Kara held OPs. Defensively Kami lose a fair number of times as well.

The last attack that won a battle was months ago. If you want a challenge now you can join the attacking side or go way back in time when defenders were losing I suppose.

anyone who wants proof can read your post history for themselves, oh and I'm under no illusion as to my imperfections but I dont go about claiming to be anything but a poor excuse for a human being oh and I could base it on many facts garnered from your posts and attiude and explain in quite explicit detail but I assume that would get the thread locked rather quickly for a masterful peice of character asassination.

Dont talk to me about MMORPGs. And certainly not about pvp. Because i love it, did it in all the games.

Once again you seen to have completely misread my post, I specifically stated I don't care what the small minority on this thread who say they want pvp to be balanced and a challenge etc I referenced it to the rgeater pvp using community at large, and if you have played mmorpg that much you'd know my commentary on these people is correct and that decent pvpers are a very rare breed.

I wont move along, a forum is for debate not agreement. My points are valid and I understand the nature and mentality of the ryzom player, as to those saying this is a place to discuss the merits of pvp fo ryzom well I'm afraid in the most obvious of logic it is. Pvp titles, would be there to encourge people to pvp more and some of us are saying thats a bad thing and as per usual the pvp fans get very defensive when any kind of debate is brought against them and say your all biased against pvpers and pvp. Well to an extent yes I enjoy pvp but I would not enjoy it in ryzom nor would I enjoy how it would change this games community, attitude and target audience.

Simple reasoning I can offer here, can anyone name me a heavy to moderate pvp based game that has a community that isn't 70% absolute idiots. However sadly I am now sure that my words fall on deaf ears and that you will not see that the majority of roleplayers do not take the same stance on pvp as the few in this thread.

can you count? i stated 4 different games there did i not? Try counting again.
Also add ryzom and youll hit 5. I also just mentioned those because they are ok games with GOOD PVPERS IN IT.
I could say WoW, Dark and Light and Guildwars. But i didnt like the community OR the pvpers there.

Again that is a VERY mistaken comment. Which community in large does have DISRESPECTFULL pvpers in general? EXEPT from WoW and TODAYS SWG.

That comment i agree with. But i also believe that arguements should be based on FACTS, not opinions. Most of your comment is based on PERSONAL OBSERVATION and NOT facts. Absolutely not. Valid points are based on facts, not a personal observation. Example of this is you basing my character description based on a signature and a few forum posts. Rly? can that have anything to do with the way you put your words? Ive personally been polite and agreed with people IN THIS THREAD that does not agree with my suggestion have i not? Try putting your words in a polite and serious way and maybe they will listen a bit more.

So, pvp changes a community? I thought pvp was already there. I just suggested a system that gives you a title and lets you check how MUCH pvp and HOW youve been doing in pvp lately. Does that change a persons personality?

EQ2 on the pvp servers. They are not 70% idiots. And if you say otherwise then you have a petty vision of the human beings and prove this to me. And if you do say so, you will show myself and others here that you generalise people to a EXTREME point. Which is unfair and to be quite honest in my own opinion pretty low.

Feel free to comment on my personality all you want I make no pretense about the kind of person I am and I respect a person who speaks their mind at times over politeness. I could go over the same points again but we are both repeating ourselves now.

Lets put is this way I've seen what pvp has already done to this community and it led partly to me leaving this game once, have it your way have the titles for all I care but when the game moves towards the trend I've pointed out I'll say I told you so then. Jeez even with our "mature" community op battles cause enough friction and idiocy.

As for judging people well lets just say I've a real gift for reading people and it hasn't let me down yet.

So uh, just for the record when was the last time the Kami lost an outpost to a karavan guild? By my reckoning it would probably be GuQin. And uh, as you may have noticed... that was somewhere around July 10th; about 2 and a half months ago. Before that it was Malmont I would think... that was 3 months earlier at the beginning of March.

Think about how many fights there have been between then and now, and tell me in all honesty that you think the kami are losing defences "a fair number of times".

When was the last time the Karavan lost an Outpost to a Kami guild? All things are relative.

With all due respect .. The Karavan were the last to fail to defend and attack round...
But back on topic..
I am massivley dissapointed that this has decended into another rights and wrongs of PvP thread.
Not to mention the fact that it has resulted in personal attacks on somebody who is merely putting thier point accross (without flaming I might add)..
This is a "FORUM" after all... thats what its for.
I like PvP .. but done right without the whinging bS and trash talk.. I also like a challenge.
I would like to think I'm an honorable player when it comes to combat and allways try to keep it civil and fun even when there is much at stake.
So it seems there are more than a few exceptions...
