I'd be horrified if they changed the mainland to be like Silan in terms of "questlike" missions, hand-holding, etc. If that happened I'd consider leaving to Planeshift. EDIT: Now...looking at my own signature, I feel a need to explain myself regarding this matter. I am afraid that making the game easier, with quests that appeal to the masses, would draw in very unsavory players. That already happens on Silan. They usually don't survive the transition to the mainland, and I'm happy about that because I fear the mainland becoming full of people who are incapable of doing anything that isn't guided and prescribed by the mechanics. These people tend to be unimaginative and demanding. I'm not saying everyone who likes quests is automatically unimaginative and demanding - I'm just saying it is common for those traits to be found in the same people, partly because they tend to come from certain games with certain mentalities. Hence, my aggressive opposition to any changes that make the game easier. I'm fine with changes that don't make the game easier or more widely appealing. For example, I'd be very opposed to "stealth" skills because that would nerf the fact that sneaking requires real skill. However, I'd love more crafting trees, or the ability to sit on chairs, or exploration of the Canopy branches.
I voted for fame rewards, because it makes sense to me that those who work on increasing their fame, especially getting max fame with all civilizations, should have some sort of mechanical recognition.
More working rites and encyclopedia entries would be wonderful since I love learning lore, but I'd rather see more introduced over time rather than "finished" all at once.

I voted the encyclopedia,
I login too erratic to organise/participate in group activity most of the time, so I spend a lot of time solo experiencing Atys, I enjoy spending a lot of time learning the Lore, and enjoy to discuss it with others when I am in town.

Experience is essential.....Wisdom is priceless.

I voted for new Branch zones, but i'd have to agree with jamela too. Outposts, Guildhalls, and apartments need some work to make them integrate better into the game instead of being just extra storage and vending machines...jamela wrote:Voted for the encyclopaedia, given the options, but there are two things I'd prefer first:Finishing development of what we already have ingame should take priority over adding more half-baked features, in my opinion.
- Some of the quick little interface fixes and improvements that have been suggested in the "what bugs you most" thread
- Revamp of Outposts to make them into the feature that was originally intended

my number one thing would be to sort out bosses and supreme's popping on season change/reset. it take's a lot of fun out of the whole experience imo the way things are.
