Wish the poll would include :

[highlight]New skill trees[/highlight]
stuff like :

- Stealth
- Builder
- Tailoring
- Taming
- Alchemy
- Bounty hunting
etc...

[highlight] Player Housing [/highlight]

- One specially made housing zone in each continent
- Builder skill tree
- Bonus for each building completed
(ex: Armory = + 5 protection on armors crafted at the site )
(ex: Silo = Extra storage)
(ex: Orchard = +3 Source content when harvesting)
etc..

Not really a bandwagon, just curious what people want to see done next for devlopment.

As for finishing the encylopedia. I wasn't meaning to finish it and never touch it again. I was meaning more to at least a large number of the entries work.

I was only allowed 4 options. So I choose the things I thought most people wanted to see.

I'd most like to see some new stanzas and equipment, and I assume those would be awarded for rites, so I'll go with the encyclopedia.

Opening up a new ecosystem is nice too, but not priority for me.

I'm not sure what you mean with "Better awards for fame", isn't that tied in with encyclopedia anyway? Encyclopedia missions require a certain fame with the civilisation, and give out unique rewards when completed. Currently they all require less than 50 fame so pretty much everyone can do them, but I believe the plan was to make the higher level rites require huge levels of fame.

I still have nightmares about the starter island, so I'll pass on that one.

Oh, and ofcourse, I'd like them to work on taking things off our Ring wish list :)

Out of the available options, and considering you asked for "next", I'd like to see the open encyclopedia entries fixnished and a constant trickle of new ones thereafter. "Next after that" an area of the canopy might be interesting.
Oh and if there should ever be any level designers without a project, please make Silan more like the mainland, not the other way 'round, thank you very much ;)

Voted for the encyclopaedia, given the options, but there are two things I'd prefer first:
  • Some of the quick little interface fixes and improvements that have been suggested in the "what bugs you most" thread
  • Revamp of Outposts to make them into the feature that was originally intended
Finishing development of what we already have ingame should take priority over adding more half-baked features, in my opinion.

I agree. The best way to reward high fame is the opportunity for new rites with appropriate rewards. E.g. the first Zoraï crafting rite requires 0+ fame and 30+ crafting and gives a generic buckler plan. The final Zoraï crafting rite requires 90+ fame, 225+ crafting and gives a plan for a helmet that lights up and says "Ocyx Tamer."

Opening the canopy might give great views, but if populated with aggressive critters, would be like a linear dungeon -- fight your way from one end to the other in order, no room to sneak past agro.
