Why Isn't Ryzom Working?

I've been trying for a few hours now to load into the game and I get this error after I put in my password

Error: Cannot connect to database host:rssql2
user:zope_agent

What is this? And How do I fix it? Or is this a problem server side?

I should note those are not common... these days there may me more downtime mainly due to the Ring release.

Jolt (the companythat hosts Nevrax's server) is physically moving the servers that host Ryzom. Looks like they might be a tad behind schedule.

It is just barely 1pm est, and as I understand it, that was/is the targettime to have the servers back up. I'd give it a few more minutes. They've been down (supposedly) since very early this morning (5am est).

yep. latest word in Klients is that they seem to be a little behind. once the move is complete Nevrax still needs to boot the servers and test them before unlocking the shards for player access.

The real reason is that all the new Silan players have increased power demands and the poor little yubos in the wheels just couldn't keep up any more and died of exhaustion. Fear not though! They're in the process of being replaced by gingo-wheels and the dead yubos will be recycled as 'carrots' to keep the gingos running in the wheels.

The developers are in the process of catching the gingos but keep getting team-wiped by them just outside Pyr.

Just a matter of time.
