Char Creation packs ?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there is a benefit to selecting all three packs at char chreation in magic, as this is what ive done thinking it would make my char more powerful or something.
Does it actually have any effect if so what ?

Yes, there is an advantage to selecting all 3 magic packs, you get more spells, and more SAP as well if I am not mistaken.

So basically you will get to new spells a little faster than other players

Beats leveling the first 5 levels of magic using heal which doesnt work solo...

all you get is some extra nice spells, acid one in the 2nd pack, root and scare in the 3rd.
