Problem with SoR website?

Post by stelf »

I can't seem to get onto the SoR home page. When I hit the link for Ryzom I am seeing a black screen which announces Nevrax in the bottom right hand corner, bottom left has game info, e.g. 12+ etc.

If I leave this screen on, nothing happens, no redirect to anything.

At present I am having to go through ryzom.raum.com and use the link there for the forums.

Yes I can report I am having the exact same problem - using Firefox, wondered if it was a problem with a popup blocker but still doesn't work when I add the site to my allowed list. Note it does seem to work in internet Explorer 6

There is a new front page to the web site that uses a flash animation for navigation.
Make sure you have the flash plugin loaded and functional in your browser.

I have a similar problem on my work PC. The flash front page works fine at hime but I get a javascript error at work. If I turn javascript off, I get the non-java version that recommends downloading flash. I already have the latest version installed, so it's not that. Popups are allowed on my Google toolbar.

Only difference I can think off between home and here is this machine is Windows 2000, home is Windows XP.

Any ideas why it doesn't work?
