Odd Happenings?

Post by rothimar »

Greetings all,

Being new, I haven't been exposed to every aspect of the game, or the world... but I did see something the other day that was somewhat different than anything i have witnessed to date.

I was hunting with some Guildies, and noticed what looked like ash falling from the sky... almost like little smoky tendrils. Additionally, I noticed the ground looked like a small crack was forming in it... and then I got attacked and we had to run away.

So I never got to fully investigate what the heck it was... has anyone seen something similar? Is this just a normal occurance on Atys?

The falling ash sounds like a normal phenomenon, yes. The crack in the ground must be caused by diggers in the roots trying to perfect my rapid resurfacing technique.

One oddity that I like is that sometimes you can catch the Karavan ship in Yrkanis turning from south to east. There's a mundane reason for it, but I'd rather promote the awe and mystery such a sighting inspires. ;)
