I can no longer allow myself to call the "KA".. "KA" anymore... to me its more of a MA... Matis alliance... Noone can dictate who is Kami or Karavan just because one chooses different friends or has different values... So my apologies for the use of the term "KA"... I don't mean this to offend anyone... Its just what I see and the opinion iv made from it.

{IC}The Matis-Karavan are only seeking to gain the tryker outpost out of greed for the tryker lands. I believe that all citizens of of the Lakelands-and friends, need to help the guild Nexus to keep their outpost out of the greedy Matisian-Karavan's hands. Do they wish to treat trykers as slaves, to rule them with an iron-fist? Tis a shame to see those of the same faction fighting against one another. Shame on Melinoe. when 3 times within 2 minutes members of Nexus (who claim to be Karavan and include Kye, the Kami attack master during the last battle) dragged Kinchers to us IN THE OP and died at our feet

Oh, and Melinoe-back to the public post on your declaration on your forums...show me screenshots where they pulled aggro-and I will believe you.

The first guild you helped was Samsara, to avoid starting another lengthy debate, look at other threads regarding their 'neutral' status. Very few Karavan percevie them as neutral, as I can count on 1 finger the number of times they've helped our side (and they lie when they say its because we didn't hire them, we tried to hire them before anyone knew about a battle and they declined, flat out, then joined the kami force a day later). They ostensibly were on our 'side' at Woodburn, there were about 3 of them there, sitting OP neutral on teh ground doing nothing, that's how neutral they are, to the Karavan on this server who aren't on crack, they are aggressive to the Karavan, and therefore your siding with our enemies made you seem our enemies.

We are neutral, no, you don't hire us normally. I have been hired once and once only by the Karavan for a recent battle in Flaming Forest, which I duly attended and fought at the best of my ability. Other times the contract offered has been too later or, previously, when we owned an OP, went against a prexisting mutual alliance.

Frankly, it seems like most of you are on crack, not to mention a touch stingy. No wonder given this constant barrage of false accusations and bodoc dung that people are reluctant to hire on for you and no member is beholden to have to fight, even if we do hire on, that's left up to individual conscience. The people you saw observing the fight were new guild members who wanted to watch but didn't feel powerful enough to make a contribution to the battle.

Since we also tend to get hired for defence or the restoration of balance, it is going to seem like we side with the kami because you're far more aggressive and inconsiderate and the Kami are trying very hard to retake their native OPs.

I agree Redslayer, let's meet on the battlefield, may the best homins win and I as I hope I have always done will try to fight with honour and kind words if any towards all that attend.

But the 'best' homin don't win. The most numerous and aggressive homin win.

Could it happen? there is a slim chance, sure, but it'll be the end of the server either way. No Kami means that things go back to the way they were before OPs, before Ep 1. Faction doesn't matter/ means nothing, cats are pointless, etc.

In some ways that'd be better, but there'd still be second class citizens and things would be less interesting than they were before the open conflict started.

great strat having the smokescreen of no one person speaks for the alliance hence when it goes wrong there is also no one to blame.

I have been playing ryzom for a year this month i am a kami and i enjoy some pvp action in the spirit of fun (pvp team event was ace more please)
There is also the thrill of a evenly balanced op battle two groups of homins
toe to toe slugging it out with just that one "please wait" between certain victory or certain death.

When ever i hear anyone speaking from a KA stance they are always "telling people what to think and what to feel what to do even"
we are free souls and will act accordingly bring your armies they will be defeated.

When I appear to speak for 'the karavan', I base my statements on conversations i've had with real players...

I personally and many many others would love to see there be balance to a certain extent -- complete balance would make the game completely pointless, a bit of stirring up means we actually USE the new contnet (Ops, spires), but really, I don't know of ANYONE who believes what you said above .

I WANT the kami side to have a chance, think anyone likes the lack of challenge where everything is a cakewalk? I don't play games with PVP elements to be bored.. and I've rarely met any that do...

Then why are you pressing at a time when there aren't inbuilt balancing mechanisms? By contributing to the positive feedback loop all you're doing is guaranteeing you won't be able to keep having a challenge, or fun. Since balance isn't currently built into the system it falls to the players and community to act responsibly.

Also, just a small thing to point out, but you don't have to use the stuff you're given in the fashion in which it is presented. We're all reasonably creative human beings, you can find new uses for things or new ways to approach the material.
