Looking for a home

Post by vesas »

Greetings.
My companion Mykkael and I are looking for a guild. We're both incredibly dashing Fyros males and currently based in Pyr, having not been on the mainland very long. Of an evening, you'll probably find us at the Oasis laying waste to the local Clopper and Arma populations. We are both about 60-65 in melee. I'm about 55 in healing and mid-40s in craft and forage.

I'm in the UK myself and Myk is an Aussie but he works funny hours so he's most often online at the same sort of time as me. Definitely looking for a guild with at least some folks in the Euro timezone, preferably with some players roughly equivalent to our skill level. I hate to log in to an empty channel...sometimes I just log into games just to chat with people and give out help and advice.

I'm personally not much of a roleplayer. I'm certainly not anti-RP but it isn't really my thing. I tend to just be myself when I'm talking with folks online and I've never been terribly comfortable with having to type OOC stuff in brackets. Myk is more used to this stuff so I guess we're looking for semi/low-RP.

We want to find some friendly, fun players to team up with. I like people who will go out of their way for each other and I'm very happy to do the same. So, if you can put up with my jokes and Mykkael taking his clothes off all the time, please reply here or give me a shout ingame :D

Well, you didn't mention Kami/Karavan leanings so I'll butt in here before you rule us out :D

It sounds from your play style you'd be a great fit for us in Reapers of the Dark, we have members in lots of time zones, including a good bunch of newer players who'd be happy to team with you at those levels. We're Karavan oriented, but have members of all races. We don't RP a lot in guild chat, although some people are into it outwardly with the rest of the community.

You should stop by our website at http://www.reapersofthedark.com and read over the "Rules" section to get a full idea of what we're about.

Whatever you end up doing, welcome to Atys, and I look forward to crossing paths :)

You might wanna check us :)
http://www.ryzom.com/community/guilds/o ... -nameless/

We have tons of lowish lvl players in the Euro zone :) and are one of the largest and friendliest guilds on atys. Lots of guild meetings and guild events twice a week. Not much (if any) RP. BTW one thing our guild is famous for is nekkid trecks from land to land :D

If you find that info interesting you might want to shoot a tell to Jocker, Porthos, Floode or Rundll

Give either me or tyilin a shout in game, we have a great guild going at the moment which is mostly based in fyros. As for timezones we are very active during euro hours and quite active long after that too.

We cater for all levels and are very newbie friendly.

we follow the ways of the kami in semi/low RP fashion
