Well, perhaps with all of the current price war deals between Intel and AMD, you could convince your IT dept that purchasing new equipment would be cost effective coupled with donating the existing machines to charity which would offset some of the cost in tax deductions for charitable donations?
Of course... that is based on how it works here, not sure of your country of origin.
