I think you need discs for re-installing like brand new correct? Also won't the viruses I have/ have had in the past still be there if I do that? And if you need those discs, I'm not sure where they are. And I have a lot of files that if were deleted, I won't be able to get them back.

Symantec have this procedure for removing SurfSideKick. Involves some rather painful registry editing but doesn't necessarily require their software, if Add/Remove Program successfully uninstalls the adware.
Yes you'd need system discs to reformat and reinstall from scratch, and you'd want to backup your important files first. Sounds like this option would be a rather extreme measure to get rid of an annoying adware and get a game to run again. Better off trying to fix what you have; take Trini's advice and try Klients if the new download makes no difference.

Are there any other options, for getting the game to work? By the way I've tried everything to get rid of that SurfSidekick, I just can't get rid of it... The website you gave me tells me to use add/remove, that won't work I tried it a long time ago.

I downloaded it a while ago, but it got stuck on veryfying ryzom installer. Then it stopped. I'll try downloading it again. EDIT: I'm downloading it again now. I'm in Klients and am talking to someone.

just looking over your system specs you are likley to be pretty laggy the geforece 4 mx is a basically a beefed up geforce 2 core and not a geforce4.
the minimum specs of the game are found here:

so you may have had related problems due to low system specs.
