Oh and my biggest wish for forage, fix the damn focus bug, I have no plans to play until its fixed, its just plain evil

You should not rely on that ! , or you'd end up swallowing your words due to getting the shakes due to lack of playing and needing your fix If we held our breath until foo/bar/baz we'd be bluer than Mabreka :

4. The ability to keep source bubbles alive longer. (i.e. ability to get to fourth or 5th source)

There is a way to get the fourth source and get 16/17 mats on all nodes at Q250 , i can pull from 5 nodes at Q240 too .

Discovered this method few weeks ago (after i got snakes boosted LA i wanted to do something with extra focus) *** this method should work with normal jewels and LA, but use kami picks or flowers if you finding it hard at start***

Start off your dig at Speed 5 (G), rate 6 (G), Qual 30 (G) terrain spec and counterpart 10

( reason for this is to dramatically reduce the time that the source will be alive for )

Second step , Max dig!! ~~ Speed 6 (G) , rate 6 (H) Qual 250 (G), terrain spec and mat spec counterpart 14

**you should kick in the second step sometime between getting 4 and 6 mats using the Q30 stanza(depends on volatility of mode usually) , this allows you to race up to Q250 using the skills that master level gave us, but until now were useless to u.

generally i can dig 1k mats in an hour (solo) with this method. its tricky to get used to but thats were the mastering comes into play

PS' not sure if this method already known, well if it is i reckon its a guarded secret as the few i have told before this never heard of it. enjoy it, play around with it and improve it

I'm 'cursed' with the 5s source time bonus I received from the Tryker Harvest Rite, and prefer to use the absorb source damage 2 stanza I learned with completing the Matis Food Rite.
I use non boosted q250 jewels and q250 light focus armor.
Absorb source damage 2 stanza will kill you with speed 6 though. But I will give your method a try

I like to get a visual indicator about the amount of mats in a given source, too.

I generally do the same as you do 15/16 mats with no source time 16/18 with source time 2. I think I'm going to play around with the idea as well since more mats is more mats

i've been using the Xycox shuffle for a few weeks now but admitedly on my lower lands so not up to trying it with ql 250 yet.

this method requires masive amounts of concentration to hit the spot perfectly tho so i often run out of focus one cycle from max ql lol.

hmm i think i have some dp lying around somewhere...ahh there it is... i'll go play in pr later with the ql 250 version

aye suppose you are right with the concentration part sash, but after a while it gets easier and you get into a rhythm as you do with all new digging patterns, lol freddy called it the Xycox shuffle too is it catching?

Actually I'm kind of amazed that you have the nerve to pop in and scream foul just because I mentioned cats. If you read the post and the context you'll find you are barking up the wrong tree. I told DT that if i was bored of the grind I would join the KA and cristal my way to the rest of my forage masters. Yup. KA. Why? Because I am the leader of a Karavan guild. If I was Kami i would have said Kami alliance, or if i was a neutral I would have said I would join in the community outpost.

Nowhere in my post did I say anything about anyones cat usage or lack of cat usage. DT has every right to express his opinion as do you and everyone else that has participated in this thread. But in the future do me a favor if you feel you must jump in and call foul, at least take a moment to read the message and context.

Yes, this is off topic, intentionally. I'm sorry you took it as an attempt to cry foul on you personally. I don't pop in as you suggested to cry foul on anyone. I read these forums everyday to keep abreast on what is happening in the game I play and to find out the what it is that bothers or pleases others about it. This is the first time I've ever quoted anyone because I don't believe in personally singly anyone out to express my own opinions in response to those expressed here. I apologize, but don't assume because I post little that I don't read everyday or that I don't care about all the players here.

The apology will not stop me from expressing my opinion on how I see things on this issue. It is the point of our individual postings, I believe. And I didn't need to explain yourself because your opinions are your own whether I like them or not. I am not wrong in my observations about the personal attacks on opinions expressed on this forum and I will not shut up about it because you or anyone else thinks I should. i havent read the middle pages of this thread so probably am not relevant to where ever the train has derailed to..

but I would like to see an extra mat per (any) source prospected for each Master title.. eg with 2 masteries the number of mats would be +2, up to +5 for all terrains.

I would like to be able to fine tune my counterparts/credits, by using 2 smaller credits instead of one oversized one .
