a few points... the reason so many rush to the void is that unless they have a dedicated group of people that are on the same time they are (and are the same level) its one of the few places on the mainland that has a decent number of people hunting in it. Having taken a 6 month break I was horrified to see how empty atys was. It was much emptier in Jan from when I first started... now its even worse.jamela wrote:..And now it seems like every other newcomer to Ryzom rushes to level in Void. Before long, no doubt, will be heard the same complaints from them about high level content and level capping...

Doubletap is entitled to express his opinion just like the rest of us. Whether it comes off positive, negative or frustrated beyond belief is a matter of interpretation.
The assumption that any one person who has access to catalyzers are using them is an unfair fallacy and one made frequently. Because a guild owns an Outpost or is a member of an Alliance does not mean that every member within it uses catalyzers or judges those who don't as harshly as I have seen demonstated on this forum by people outside of these groups. None of us know who is doing what with what, so this statement is insulting and offensive to both the users and non-users of catalyzers.
And since we are on the subject, neutrals, kamis, non-allied players don't use catalyzers? What does the use or non-use of cats have to do with the playstyle of any individual or with what occurs after mastering a craft or forage or any other skill mastered?
I would like to know who died and made any of us holy enough to make these kinds of assessments and assumptions about the rl individuals who play this game? We are all, who stay here, through thick and thin, committed to the company and its admittedly stalled vision of what they intended upon release. Let's not lose sight of that, please. :O OC
I have delayed as long as possible not to raise any my craft or forage skill to the master level in any region and I dig and craft in them all because I love exploring the nooks and crannies of Atys while on the hunt for materials to craft with not because I desired to master any skill in any skill tree. Having said that, I agree that something needs to be done to make the efforts of all the masters here worthwhile, rewarding and continously challenging; I salute you all!
These are my opinions, they don't have to be yours. No offense is intended and my apologies in advance if any is taken.
