Order of the Dragonblades

Post by shaymoon »

Looking for a strong, family-like bond in a guild?
Want to be among people who are not just strong, but helpful, friendly, and caring?
Do you like to roleplay and would love to see it in a guild?
Would you like being seen in high quality armor with an amazing weapon that you earned but didn't have to buy or make?
Are you interested in rising through the ranks and showing everyone your prowess in the process?
Does outings with good people where you have fun and find adventure on treks, harvesting, or just chilling sound alluring to you?

The Order of the Dragonblades offer this, and more than I can easily describe here. We are a family of good people, with the interests of the people at heart. As a neutral guild, we work for the good of all, and we get to know everyone as well as we possibly can through helping, working together, DragonBlades' Days Out, and more. You can do special tasks to earn honorary ranks and better Dragonblades, our signature sword. Armor is provided on request to new recruits, and upgraded on reuqest at any time. Assistance in tasks is only a message away. The Order isn't just a guild, we're a family, and we're always glad to have more members in our family.

For more information, contact Emberstorm or Jelathnia.

I wanted to just emphasize this point. I think one of the key elements to the Dragonblades is the rank tests and the rewards for them. Having a sword that I earned by successfully completing a task set for me by the guild, is much more fulfilling than having one I just bought with cash. Anyone can just go buy a good sword.

I sort of "happened" into the Dragonblades thanks to Jelathnia, and I'm glad I did. It's a great group of people who work well together. And they're good at forcing me to keep my IC-hat on a lot. :)

I agree, and we have the best, most loving and helpful people, especially since it's pretty much against the code to turn down Jelathnia's kindess and assistance in any way...

Our crafters are very good, and have no problems making or helping you get whatever you need. The Dragonblades, though specially made, are the most awesome thing in the world, the best swords you could ask for...

A description of our level of RP:

By default, all channels except for Universe and Region are IC (in-character). We generally use this to explain long-distance communication (i.e. guild, tells, team, etc.). Members are encouraged to use [brackets], (parentheses), or some other form of notation for OOC (out-of-character) messages. There is one exception to this: either imagine everything Soleca says as bracketed, or put his messages through a mental RP filter. :p So, while chat is basically IC, it is occasionally perforated by OOC. Once one becomes used to everyone's RP styles and such, it is a fairly constant RP environment, I think.

If any members would like to correct my description or add to it, please do so. :)

All my words have already been through a mental filter, very mental...

^ No longer applies. Guild chat is now entirely IC except for denoted OOC.
