Any "cult-like" Heavy RP Guilds?

Post by dhaevn »

When I say "cult-like" I mean with ceremonies and all spiritual. It's what I've always envisioned a Zorai guild would be like. Tribal and ceremonial. I love events and anything involving roleplaying. I want to be emmersed in the world of Atys as much as possible.

By the way, I'm currently on the beginner's island and I'm working hard and learning much in order to be ready for the main island. But, I'm anxious to find that perfect guild and community. =)

there used to be several but the mist's of time have faded their memories.

I would suggest giving Karm or Quiksilver a /tell, Merchants of Void are a long standing and respected Zorai based guild, not sure of their RP status but a chat won't hurt.

If you have no luck then start one :)

(and i seem to be trolling your posts tonight, not intentional :p )

Hi Vhael

And thanks Rushin for thinking of us. RP hasn't been a bit thing in MoV. Albeit I've been RP'ing a long time not all have wanted to go for it. But as things stand atm, I cannot see any problems with RP's joining us. In fact I would love it hehe

I also fit the bill "cult-like" as you have defined it. But I am not the only one in our guild, only one voice among the others :)

Well, as far as I know, the options for RP guilds are basically "monastic male-Fyros-only dragon-seeking" (Seeker of the Dragon), "mercenary" (The Samsara, useful link), "rogue" (Red Ribbon Army), and "knightly honor" (Order of the Dragonblades, useful link). All neutral except for Seeker of the Dragon. The Order has tests of rank, events, etc. The Samsara have a Pub Night in Thesos every other Tuesday and they used to have a sort of boot camp for recruits, but I'm not sure if they still do. Samsara doesn't RP in guild chat as much as the Order does, and I don't know about RRA.

Send a tell to Jelathnia if you'd like more information on the Order of the Dragonblades. :)
Jelathnia, Kasarinia, KianShi, Maethro, ShuaLi, and OPaxie (Arispotle)
TeiJeng (Leanon)

There is only one guild like that that I know of:

Seeker of The Dragon
High RP
Kami
Fyros
Male
Monastic
Military

High Priest - Balto

Seeker of The Dragon is a monastic order dedicated to the protection of the Fyros people and the Kami.

The primary purpose of SoTG is to remain ever vigilant against the return of The Dragon.

Members of the SoTG will be male Fyros of military age only. Each member will strive to sustain himself and to be as nearly self sufficient as is practicable. This is to ensure that SoTG is not burdend with over complex logistics needs in readying for the final fight against The Dragon.

Each member of SoTG will conduct himself with the utmost respect and honor at all times even to the point of death.

Seeker of The Dragon will oppose any and all that move against either the Kami or Fyros and will work towards the destruction of any who stand with The Dragon and its allies, the karavan.
