Can someone educate the rest of us what the source effect is please, rather then berate, you should educate!

I'll educate then. When the source mode comes up, the lower the better, preferably 0 or 1. This will give you a better chance of null expiry. If it isn't a low number and it isn't going to expire immediately, click on the foraging action again and the number will change, for better or worse (richer, poorer, etc). The most important thing is, when the source is about to be exhausted, sit down. Stops the source exhausting. Then you can just try again.

Oh, btw, a full guide to this issue is addressed in the foraging forum. I am not the originator of this plan. Someone else though of it, the genius that they are.
