With the patch my characters name changed from Beren to Berenz, and I have yet to get any feedback on this. When/will I get my original character name back?
I have contacted the CSR's on occasion but they can't help me.

If the CSRs can't help you, I suspect you're out of luck. Just prior to the RoS patch there was a "server unification" to allow cross-server chats and Ryzom Ring scenarios. Part of that (IIRC) was a modification of SOME names to make them unique across the shards. Perhaps you got caught up in that? Just guessing, dunno for sure.

This is under investigation to see if the Beren name can be freed, a CSR will get back to you when we know.
