As posted earlier I'm a SWG refugee, and might I say "I am very impressed with this system! It's very much like Pre-CU SWG and it's also a lot more complex than SWG was i.e. I can make my own moves. I love that aspect of this game the complexity is great after being being beaten to death with the dumbed down version that is called NGE!!!!!!!"

Any how I've been playing for a couple of days now and as stated above the newbie island is awesome! The art work is top notch! I find myself on rainy nights staring at the lightening because it's so realistic.

I too used to play SWG. I loved the old "pre-CU" version of the game... And Ryzom reminds me of that more than any other game ever has.

Actually I think the Ryzom system is better in a lot of ways... Though I do wish they had Creature Handling and housing you could furnish/decorate. Maybe someday though...

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome! I agreee that Ryzom is far superior in many ways to the version SWG that is out now! I too wish there was some form of Creature Handeling and Housing we could decorate and also some theiving abilities I.E. Stealth and pick pocket. The pick pocket would have to be for NPCs only though!

I do wish that the Devs here would put up some different forums for the different classes so related info was all in the same place! I.E. a Fight Forum and Magic Forum

Ok touchet, ya got me there! LOL But it would be nice if each of the different skill "Trees" had a related Forum so that info pertaining to that "Tree" was easier to access. ( ) Don't you agree?
