Greeting to all

Post by nayuaka »

Ello all. I come from a very community centric game so I think it rather important to indroduce myself to all of you. Polite as well I think. Anyway, well.....hello. :) I will be joining the game shortly to make it one of the two games that I play. Soon there will be another Zorai among you, allied to the Kami no less. Seems I tend to pick the underdogs without realizing it. Oh yes...did I mention it wa also going to be a caster/crafter?

I do have some questions though if you all would be kind enough to answer. Well one question really. It's so hard I'm not sure you all can answer. It will tax your very capibiliities. :) So here it is. I've read up on the action packs and I'm not completly sure about them. My question is if I choose all magic action packs will that effect my ability as a crafter later on or are action packs symply a way for the game to start you off with different items? I want to be a crafter/mage but I learned from Horizons that it's better to get adventure up first half the time, hence the three magic packs. I just wanted to make sure that this would not hinder my ability to get to high level craft later on.

Thank you all very much for reading this and for any answers you can give me. May you all have a wondering playing experience.

You only get one pack now, so things are easier, and no, you can't gimp yourself, you can only slow down your rate of development.

Heh, well that's what I get for reading outdated information. Thank you for the quick reply.

As a side note. It's not like all this matters anyhow. We bought a copy of the game and are patching the client from stratch. Soooooo.....we should be in the game around sometime next Tuesday. ;)

Heh yeah. Took about 2-3 hours which I suppose isn't bad. I'm just impatient. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned dialup is a dirty word when it comes to online games. :)

Now, let's rain some DOOM down upon the filthy heads of our DOOMED enemies!

I'm gonna sing the doom song! Doom doom doomdoom do-de doom!

Good to see you, Nay. This is Klaus. :-)

Been here for a few days and this weekend quite a few of our guildies are going to be trying the game out. I saw a thread for SWG refugees to get in touch with one another; maybe we need one as well.

To all the Ryzom regulars, greetings! It's too early to tell if our beloved Istaria will live and thrive or be abandoned to stagnate and die, but so far Atys has been fun and welcoming. I'm looking forward to learning more and seeing what Atys has to offer.

May the world of your dreams never be sold to those who don't know enough about what they have taken on to be afraid...

Heh Hey Klaus. One plus side about this game is at least it's easy to get us all on the same server. :) Eh I'll stick with Istaria until the lights go off but it's always good to have another game too I think. Ranqthas says a few other HZ players play here as well. It's a bit of a learning curve I'll admit after getting so used to Horizons. And after playing a flight capible dragon for almost a year and a half I miss my jump button. *sniffs* I'm wondering around with a newly minted Zorai mage equiped with the manual and I still have no idea what I'm doing too. Anyway off to kill more Yubos in an attempt to get anywhere. A big welcome to all the other Horizons players that are trying this game out. It's a bit different but the world is beautiful and the lore unique. This game is something special shining out in a world of clones.

I'm also an ex-Istarian from Order. I have an alt on Zorai lands, as well. :)
