Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
I think that's what can happen when someone listens to the whispers of the Karavan, takes advantage of their easy access to the prime roots, and spends too long out of her light. But what do I know, I spend so much time myself skipping through the goo?

I think DT sometimes forgets in his fervour as a self professed disciple that he is speaking for his alliance not all Karavan followers, the use of the word psuedo is his choice and offensive.
Doesnt one of Jenas commandments say somthing about taking the law into your own hands and judgement day.
When you beleive you are showing true faith, it can be easy to be slightly over-enthusiastic. It can be easy to point out the faults in others (calling them psuedo etc) when you are so high up there on that pedestal.
Because DT belives that Jena's favour is with her, she acts like it. Its understanable that you want to please entities that are far superior. Just as a child wishes to please his father. I would surmise that this is where DT gets her sharp tounge and hawk eye from.

Just one slight correction: DT is a "he" both in and out of game

Sincerest apologises, Some of "his" postings I had read had made me come the conclusion that "he" was infact female, Add that to the fact that the (generalising) male population tend to speak with actions ingame as opsosed to drawing out heated arguments to put a personal point across while masking it as RP on the forums. - EDIT: I'm not saying that the female population do. I'm so used to seeing 'Gankers Ltd' from Males ingame that it makes a change to see a guy RP'ing passionately..
I'll make sure ill do a thougher check next time.

I'd Like to apologise to "him" for such a presumption. Hopefully "he" can forgive me.

Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
Want to see a female demonstrating direct action in game? Keep up with the sexism....and you just might
Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
OCC: Why is it that most assume that when someone speaks passionately on an issue, whether wrongly or rightly, that the person speaking must automatically be a woman? Do we get misguided by the avatars presented here to make that assumption?
Second observation, to this point, is why is it that every time there is a difference of opinion expressed on the subject of being Karavan, kami or neutral, these threads degenerate into a personal attack flame war against the individual behind the character? I find this the most disturbing aspect of these forums. I come here to be informed then I catch a thread like this and I go away shaking my head in sadness over the meanness often expressed by those who are Karavan, kami and neutral just to get a point across.
I could care less what your ingame stance is on the issue of being Karavan, kami or neutral so long as you have one. I assume you gave the choice the due consideration I did when I made mine. I neither explain it or apologise for it or defend it because it is my right as individual to make it just as is it your right to do the same. Whatever the choice, you are going to have opposition to it, as roleplay ingame. There is no story without conflict.
So what is the purpose of bringing it here and getting nasty with it on top of it? Why does it matter? What is to be accomplished by bringing it to these forums where potential new players can get turned off by it? It turns me off and I'm a devoted player of this game. :O CC
These are my opinions, they don't have to be yours. No offense is intended and my apologies in advance if any is taken.

Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
I hope that after editing my post my view has been made slightly clearer. I apologise prefusly for the way it was originaly put. It was (and will never be) my intention to group any1 by their race/creed/religion/sex.
Maybe some homins know how to 'push my buttons'. I've gotten worked up about many things but 90% of the time i manage to supress the 'rage'
unfortunatly this time i said things without putting due thought into it.
I've found the people who have chosen to call themselves 'daughters/sons of Jena/ma-duk do not so slightly. As lore dictates Kara and Kami DO NOT like each other. maybe this is subconsiouly passed into the homins who decide to uphold the teachings of their masters. So if you insult the kami, you then insult the homin (and vica versa).
Like in all things when there is a disagreement words are passed. Somtimes words lead to actions, (Like PvP) somtimes words lead to resolution and somtimes words lead to more words (disagreement)
I belive the forums are an accurate representaion of the game. Most of the time its nice and pleasnt and useful, but occasionaly it turns a bit soure when religion/PvP is mentioned. I belive that if a person wanting to know EXACTLY what ryzom was about the forums are the place to be. beacuse a vast majority of the time it is reasonable.

Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
Good luck to the Kamis ^_^ Im gonna be there to kick some butt
Re: Returning Gu-Qin to the Kamis.
Hmm not true. There are quite afew kami I really likeffxjosh wrote:As lore dictates Kara and Kami DO NOT like each other. maybe this is subconsiouly passed into the homins who decide to uphold the teachings of their masters.

Jackoba, Redslayer, Fasinus, Bnold to name just a few

Many other kami I consider nice guys (as part of this nice community)
and we only have to fight each other because the lore dictates so...
The only ones I really DON'T like are the notorious aggro-draggers and people who use dirty talk since that is the only way they can get a point accross. But those THANKS GOD are an insignificant minority

So all in all I might say: I LIKE kami

And I LIKE fighting them too

P/S I am pretty sure the majority of karavaneers can say almost the same...
