Teams and distance between team members

Is there a limit to how far apart team members can be from each other to remain in a team? For example, using the starter island as an example, can one team recruit be on the far west side of the island and another team member be on the far east side and both are still part of the team? And if there is a distance limit, is it based on the team leader's proximity to the rest of the team?

There is no distance requirement between team mates. One team mate can be on one side of Atys, the other on the other side.

Only real requirement is team mates must be online, logout and you are dropped from the team.

you can also invite any member to join your team from any given distance.

just type /invite in your chat window I.E /invite tyilin

Though if you are on the newbie isle. you cant team sum1 who is on the mainland (i dont think...)

Hmmm, now here´s an interesting question for the Devs...

If someone on the Island is in the same team with others on the Mainland and each fights mobs...
Then would the System count this as "the same battle"?
Would the Char. on the island get 3k XP if the team killed a big enough mob for them to get 3k?
Does that count as an Exploit?

Well, it´s a way to get a lot more and faster XP then is "normal" on the island...

Devs, Gms, please clearify.

I doubt it... since that kinda happened awhile back with the "Yubo exploit" So now (I think?) they set up a distance limit on the XP.

I am not sure how they fixed it ... But I think it is the distance thing... I know when I fight in one place and a team member fights (in the same region outside of 250m from me never tried closer) In another I don't share XP.

Your probably right I just never paid attention till that exploit was announced (I didn't even know what the exploit was until it was fixed lol... So I really don't know what the circumstances were...) I just know that you can't share XP from mainland to noobland... Because that would go along with that exploit which (unless I am wrong)has been fixed.

Errr, afaik you only ever get exp if you make some contribution to earning it. It's not a distance thing but if you're on different continents then of course you can't be involved in the same activities You can be standing right next to the rest of the team and get no exp if you fail to connect in the fight. Different activities, different exp, different share.

Yes, but there is still a distance limit (I was kind of assuming the actual *doing something* part)

Summary:
You can both connect in a different fight within (eg) 10m of each other and both get xp for each fight (thats how it used to be, think it still is)
You can both connect in a different fight and be over 50m apart (for example, not sure on the number) and only get xp for the fight you were in.
