Trying to enjoy the game but...

I keep getting lagged out. Like every 5 or so minutes I get the "Please wait" screen and it just sits there so I have to restart. The documentation for this game isn't too great either. I would ask for help but no one is around. I think i've seen like two people in the game. The enemies kill me everytime.

my guess is you have a linksys router ... check the support forums for things to try...

There are plenty of people. The GMs have insanely fast response times (always <2 minutes for me) if you have questions. Use the regional chat to contact people. It's funny, there's so many more people than I see talking in the regional chat. Some people just don't know it exists.

My guess would be that it's a LinkSys Router. ANyone that I know that has a LinkSys router has been having a lot of problems with them. However, I'm fairly certain the developers know about this and are working on it. LinkSys routers have had a lot of other problems with different games as well - so I wouldn't blame the game either. Make sure your firmware is completely up to date and you have the latest drivers, it will help the CS team figure out what is wrong faster and definitely determine if it is the router.

This is hugely important, and an easy fix! Go to the below link that applies to you, select your hardware from the list, under the header 'More Information' there is a link to Firmware. Dowload the upgrade and the instructions. Fix it up and log on!

I have not had a single problem with this game running behind my linksys and it is even a model that is one of the worst for UDP. Every once in a while when the server is acting up I will have a disconnect but that is maybe once a week.
