Basically you're getting 5 free weeks instead of 4. The extra week will be added on at the end of the first month. Enjoy!

Cerest, in case you look at this thread again, I have a question: In the announcement where you said that a free week was being added, you said that the billing system had already been updated. I just checked my account information and it still shows my original billing date (1 month from subscription date). Will this be updated?

Right I had been told that it was in effect. However, it may take some time to get to your account. I've asked for an official word but nobody has gotten back to me yet.

Ok, I guess the additional free week doesn't work the way I expected. I thought the free month included with the purchase price had been extended to 5 weeks meaning that I had 5 weeks instead of 4 to decide if you wanted to continue subscribing. My credit card just got charged for my first monthly charge so I guess I misunderstood how this is supposed to work. My new "current subscription end date" also does not yet reflect this additional free week.

I'm not trying to be difficult. I was definitely leaning toward continuing my subscription for at least one more month (in hopes that some of the content that was promised at release will make it into the game by then) and was led to believe that I had one more week to make up my mind. Now I find myself wishing that I never knew about the free week because based on that information, I postponed my subscription decision and now am locked in for another month whether I want it or not.

Please, in the future, don't announce something unless its actually going to happen.

P.S. I also didn't like the fact that my initial month wasn't due to expire until the 22nd and the charge for the next month was posted on the 19th.

Actually if you look at the emailed invoice, it says it will be deducted 3 days from the date of that letter (the 19th).

My bad. I didn't read the email. I just looked up my account information on-line. And you're right. It does show the transaction date of the charge as 10/22.

That still doesn't address the issue of the free week though. Have you gotten any additional information on that?
