Anyone have any ideas on how to make it so that when I go to http://www.ryzom.com using IE it comes up in English instead of French?

Happening to me, too, so it's not just you. Only happens in IE and not in Firefox (I mention that so that anyone official that's watching will use it to find the problem and not to suggest you switch to Firefox. Even if it is a much better browser.

Not sure if this may be your problem but it may be your cookies setting in IE that is causing the problem. If you have it set either too high or to delete cookies when logging out then the site has to create a new cookie to identify you each time.
This is just a guess though and I am in no way a computer guru but it might be worth a shot.

Re: And now for something completely different...
Most if not all browsers let you set your preferred language, sites using several languages usually ask your browser what language to serve you. Maybe checking your prefs (different for every browser, so no recipe here) and adding/prioritizing your preferred language helps.sprite wrote:Anyone have any ideas on how to make it so that when I go to www.ryzom.com using IE it comes up in English instead of French?

Best to use Firefox/Opera/whatever, though
Re: And now for something completely different...
Language settings is set to English UK
Re: And now for something completely different...
And you did try English/US (en_US), or English (en). I'm clueless, then.sprite wrote:Language settings is set to English UK![]()
