after all the issue downloading bad files, I finally install, and guess what.....nothing happens. The screen just flickers over and over and over.

High end machine, play anything else I throw at it.

I'm done.

Open the config and tweak as needed... the flicker is probably telling you it's a video issue. A high end system can still be lacking drivers and such and run most games just fine. Turn down video, turn off sound and turn on things as you see the results. Open GL for Nvidia, DX for ATI... never use Auto.

There are problems with the nvidia drivers(91.31).
Especially if you have a dual core processor with nvidia card. There is a work around.

The dirvers also have a problem with the shadows in OpenGL, but not DX. So stick with DX if possible, even on the nvidia card.
