When was this game released?
When was this game released?
And why have I never heard of it until now hehehe
I had no idea there was any multiclass, skill tree based games out there anymore. Can't wait to finish this download and give it a try.

Re: When was this game released?
September 2004 I believe.
You're not the only one for whom it was a relative unknown until recently. I had not ever heard of it till June of this year.
And now I am subscribing... and loving it!

Re: When was this game released?
Whats this talk about a NPE? Please don't tell me its anything like SWG's NGE?
Re: When was this game released?
NPE is Ryzom's new player experience. Think of it as replacing 4 pretty poor newbie lands giving a not good representation of the game, with one big one putting everyone together and being superb, and a far better representation of the game
Its pretty much widely accepted that its a definate improvement by far to Ryzom, as it is making it more popular and bringing more people to our little world

Re: When was this game released?
Welcome jollyemu and chessack
Beg to differ, apart from being very empty player-wise, I found the "late" refugee outposts very well designed and quite representative of their respective ecosystems. Of course the Ruins of Silan are densely populated, which is a huge plus, but they're not nearly as charming as the old outposts, and I don't think they represent the feel of the "real game".
Sorry for going off-topic
You see, this game is very old... "evereything was better in yon olde tymes..."
