Is it safe in the water ?

Ok, so the server is down and my brain starts to think up weird questions. Sorry Guys.

Are there any aquatic mobs in Ryzom, pls?

I am still playing on the island atm, and my harvester toon was worried about swimming over to the island, but it seemed safe enough and I never saw any fish.
Are there aquatic mobs in this game? or is the water always a fairly safe place to run to?

if you in water, you dont get aggro, but area damage can kill you if you in range.

They will sometimes run into the water to chase you but can't attack you.

lol i know, just contradicting the "Its safe No water mobs." statement heh.. even if its just a fluke they were there at the time

Yeah and DoT(Damage over time) will still kill you too.

edit--to the obove post.. It is safe they were only in as far as they could walk they are not water mobs and couldn't attack SO my point stands! YAY!

If you're a Matis male, you should probably avoid water at all costs.
They are made of spun sugar and it is rather messy when they melt.
