I was looking at the different armor types over at ballisticmystix.com and noticed that there are different colors for armor.
How exactly do you figure out what color they will be? Does it have to do with mats, or is there some sort of dyeing process?
Later folks.
Armor colours?
Re: Armor colours?
Color is tied to what mat you use. I noticed some mats on the site show as 2 colors, not sure how you'd pick one or the other?
Re: Armor colours?
the colour of the 'trim' on the armour is tied to the crafting plan.. basic/medium/high.
I cant remember the exact rules, but high q matis armour will give you purple trim, etc.
You should be able to work it out easily enough, just by visiting the BM dressing room and looking at the options

Re: Armor colours?
The vast majority of materials come in three colours depending upon their source; right click any material in your bag and look at its info to see what colour it is. Dung Resin, for example is turquoise when it comes from a basic or fine node, red when it comes from a choice, excellent or supreme node on the surface, and white when it comes from a choice, excellent or supreme node in the prime roots.
The colour attribute only infuences armour crafting so it's really only relevant for armour shell, cloth, lining, stuffing and armour clip.
As you add materials into your crafting plan to make a piece of armour the colour of the finished work is affected and shown in its icon. An overall majority of materials of one colour usually dictates the result, but lining seems to have the greatest influence.
