I think there need to be more flashing stars (like the kami tp, etc) flying out of it, and it would look perfect!

I' ll stick with the rings being the most obvious links, the ball in the middle possibly being a rootball. So my guess would be either a placeable object available to Ring scenarios or a device that lets us access Ring scenarios.
On another note; has anyone noticed the 'banner' at the top of the mainpage, and how it keeps showing us samples of the different lands and races?
Now take a close look at what the Fyrosians are wearing. Because I' m pretty much convinced whatever they are wearing is something I have NOT seen ingame.
Though there is actually rather little to see to have a good idea of what it is exactly they are wearing, I' d have to say that whatever the girl seems to be wearing, looks like it is made up of small scales meshed into eachother. The white maybe/probably being a link to Kamism ... Kamist heavy or medium armour?
Then the green gear the guy wears, looks a lot more 'industrial', maybe even as if it were polymere based. Could this be a Karavan bio-hazard suit, fitted out to enable homins to scoop up the Goo?
Eitherway, it wouldn' t be the first time we get glimpses of armours not (yet?) available to us; but whatever it is .... gimme, gimme, gimme!

Agreed.
