Chapter 11 The Meeting of Trust and Truth

The sun rose over the forest before anyone knew it, another day had passed. Little did anyone in all of the jungle know that in a few hours a grand meeting would be taking place, a meeting that could bring some common ground or total war?

“Ah my head.” Co’Mo’Sarn whimpered, she had just awoken and had a headache.

“Aren’t we a heavy sleeper?” La’Beka snickered at the now awake Co’Mo’Sarn.

“Where am I?” She asked still half asleep.

“The inn, you’re the last to awake.” La’Beka smiled.

“Oh.” She replied.

“Come on everyone is outside and you could use some movement.” La’Beka said with a smile as he helped her up and outside.

“La’Beka….La’Beka you two are needed at the stables, there’s a messenger needing to speak with us. Ga’Lorda panted as when he reached La’Beka and Co’Mo’Sarn.

“A messenger…Oh dear.” Co’Mo’Sarn said in shock and then dashed off to the stables; La’Beka and Ga’Lorda weren’t far behind.

Everyone was in front of the stables; a three horned Kami was in front of them. As La’Beka, Co’Mo’Sarn, and Ga’Lorda joined the group it began to speak. No one in town even seemed to even notice the group and the Kami.

“Good Day Trykers I bring news of the alliance meeting that is to take place this fine day.” The Kami said in a kind yet firm voice. The group slightly jumped at the word meeting.

“Not to be rude but it’s today?” Be’Cona asked.

“It’s alright and yes the meeting is today and I suggest all of travel to Zorai as soon as possible. I’m sure your leader Ma’Darrel and the other leaders of Tryker State will wish to speak with you. On that note a new member will be joining your team, her name is Le’Bele, she is with Aqua and Windra as we speak, that is all the information I have for you; now I suggest that you head to Zoria.” The Kami explained. He gave them a bow and vanished.

“Well let’s get our stuff and mounts and packers.” Co’Mo’Sean said with a slight sigh; wishing the meeting wasn’t today.

Meanwhile in Zorai Windra, Aqua, and Le’Bele were still sleeping completely unaware of the meeting that was going to take place in the very structure that they were in.

“There’re in there.” The Elder said to someone as they stood just outside the room door.

“Good thank you Elder.” A young voice replied.

Aqua, Windra, and Le’Bele were still half sleep when they heard the voice but they really didn’t want to get up. Their bodies ached from the battle that night and they wish they had more time to rest.

“Still asleep huh?” The young voice snickered.

“Windra, Aqua, Le’Bele!” He snapped as he stomped his left foot.

“Sir!” They yelled as they jumped off the bed and stood up straight.

The person who snapped laughed.

As their eye’s adjusted to the light of the room they saw who awoke them, it was Wlyer.

“Wlyer what was that for we thought you were Ma’Darrel.” They snapped.

Wlyer just laughed.

“Wait Wyler what are you doing here?” Aqua asked wondering what Wlyer was doing here.

“I’m here….with Ma’Darrel the meeting….is today, you should of seen your faces.” Wlyer explain cracking a laugh every few words.

“The meeting!” Aqua and Windra boomed as they starred as each other hoping the other new what was going on. Le’Bele just starred blankly.

“Ah you must be Le’Bele, a pleasure.” Wlyer says with a warm smile and a bow.

“What meeting?” Le’Bele asked.

“The meeting of the Tryker and Zorai it’s a tiny meeting to see if we can count on the Zorai if trouble arises in the next several moon cycles. Come Ma’Darrel wishes to speak with all of you.” Wlyer explained then waved them on as he headed for the door.

“Windra, Aqua, Le’Bele you’re here.” A strong and powerful voice boomed.

“Ma’Darrel sir!” They snapped to attention.

“Haha calm down hmmm, come I would like all you and your team members to be my guard.” Ma’Darrel smiled as he shook hand with Aqua, Windra, and Le’Bele.

“Really….of course it would be an honor….we shall make you proud.” They said in shock.

“Good come lets greet the your teammates before we enter the meeting hall.” Ma’Darrel said with a warm smile and walked up the stairs, Wlyer right behind him, and Le’Bele, Aqua and Windra were right behind him.

The rest of the group had just arrived and were changing into their finest armor and robes for the meeting. La’Beka wore a red of high quality heavy armor with his sword in his hands. Be’Cona wore a suit of high quality blue medium armor; boomer rifle in hand. Ga’Lorda and Sa’Binga as all ways wore high quality green harvesting and crafting robes.

“Hey guys, sorry we left but we had too…Hey where is Jin’Vena and Dak’Cove?” Windra asked as Aqua and he ran up to their friends, Le’Bele just looked down and walked up to them; she was very nervous

“I’m right here.” Jin’Vena said in a low voice as she walked up from behind the group with her love Da’Cove; she was blushing deeply.

“Jin…” Aqua and Windra gasped. Jin was dressed in the finest white Matis robe so was Dak’Cove.

“Le’Bele come on introduce yourself.” Aqua said with a warm smile as she nudged her forward.

“Umm hi everyone I’m Le’Bele of Silt Tribe and I’m your new team member.” Le’Bele said in a shy voice.

“Welcome Le’Bele!” Everyone cheered and began to welcome her and ask her questions about as she did the same for them. After awhile Ma’Darrel walked up to the group.

“Not to interrupt but we’re needed in the castle meeting, there will be plenty of time to talk afterwards.” Ma’Darrel said then waved them on.

Everyone followed Ma’Darrel in a straight line up the castle stairs and to a door that lead to a grand meeting hall. The hall was decorated with weapons, paintings, and plants, and in the every center of the room was a grand wood table the spread till it was only about three meters away from the wall. Behind the table sat six elders three on each side of the Grand Sage Hoï-Cho.

“It’s has been ages Ma’Darrel, I have been informed that you are request protection?” Hoï-Cho asked as he greeted the Tryker’s and waved them to have a seat.

As the masters took their seats the group stood with honor behind their great leader.

“Yes it has been awhile and I know that we are not on the best terms with each other because of what we believe but we need to make an alliance even if short term.” Ma’Darrel explained.

“Ma’Darrel you have a fine army why you would need our help after all we have our share of problems as well.” Hoï-Cho asked not sure what Ma’Darrel is getting at.

“I know little about this threat and I doubt I will understand but I have three young Trykers that have faced his evil, Aqua, Windra, Le’Bele please explain the threat to them we shall leave you three alone. Co’Mo’Sarn, Co’Mo’Sean stay with them.” Ma’Darrel said as the masters and he stood up and bowed to the Zorai.

“Ma’Darrel these are our friends may we stay?” La’Beka asked Ma’Darrel as he pasted; Ma’Darrel nodded.

“Please have a seat and explain to us what this threat is.” A master in a blue robe said.

The group bowed and took seats with Aqua, Windra, Le’Bele in the center and Co’Mo’Sarn and Co’Mo’Sean at their side.

“Grand Sage it is an honor to meet you and the other elders.” Windra, Aqua and Le’Bele said with a happy smile.

“What is this so called threat?” An Elder asked in a stern voice.

“An evil as old as homin kind, they are known as the Dark Ones, The Black Wings, The True Followers.” Le’Bele told them.

“Interesting names but what is the evil?” Another Elder asked in a sweet voice.

“They are loyal followers of the Dark Prince; they are the Servants of the Great Dragon! Le’Bele cried.

Everyone fall silent when they heard the “Great Dragon.”

After several moments the Elders looked to their leader.

“How you do know so much about this so called threat?” The Sage asked not truly believing their tale.

“So called threat?” Windra snickered.

“A so called threat……….This so called threat serves the Dark Prince they are going to reawaken him! They are blood thirsty, merciless, monsters that stole Le’Bele’s soul as I child and we just saved her. These homins will do anything to gain power and they do! They killed our parents as they protected the Nexus alter, we fought them long ago after the dragon fall and now they’re back!” Windra boomed anger filled his eyes.

“Hold thy tongue Tryker, what you say is impossible the first appearance was to long for any one here to have fought in, unless.” A male Elder boomed but stopped all of the guardians had pulled off their gloves and were showing them their symbols.

“So the night I felt pain in my heart was the night your parents died and the night a beam of light shot into the skies was the guardians reuniting?” The Grand Sage asked.

Everyone nodded.

“Elders leave us this has become a private conversion.” The Grand Sage told the Elders as he looked into Windra’s eye and saw his father, as he did for all the guardians

The Elders bowed and left through doors on the left and right door on their side.

“What are you going to do Aqua, Windra, and Le’Bele are the guardians?” Be’Cona asked.

Before anyone could speak La’Beka spoke up.

“Be’Cona no use to hide it any longer they know what we know.” Le’Beka sighed.

“What?” They asked.

“Yes when you were away a Karavan and Kami told us everything.” Ga’Lorda said in a low voice.

“A Kami?” Windra asked with a brow raised.

“Aye.” Ga’Lorda replied.

“Why?” Windra asked.

Hoï-Cho spoke up at this. “In truth the Karavan and the Kami are allies they tho may not show it. The Karavan and Kami tell lies about each other so they can gain power but in the process they are destroying homins lives. It’s a never ending battle but there are many Karavan and Kami that work together in an effort to stop the darkness.” Hoï-Cho explained.

“Then why don’t we tell homins the truth?” Sa’Binga asked in a harsh voice.

“Because we don’t want anyone hurt Sa’Binga, we were chosen to stop them and that’s what we going to do. They only want us and we only want them.” Le’Bele said through clenched teeth and tightened fists.

“Hoï-Cho how do we fight them, I mean we can’t take on them all?” Co’Mo Sean asked.

“The power of Ayts and its homin are the key to stopping them, The Zorai are the magic of Atys, the Fryos are the strength, Matis are the beauty, and the Trykers are the Spirit combine them and you have a force that can’t be stopped.” Hoï-Cho explained.

“Then we have already failed, the Matis will never help us never in million years. Those homins want to conquer us all and….”Ga’Lorda began to say in a harsh voice but Hoï-Cho raised his left hand to stop him.

“It is true the Matis hate us but not all Matis due.” Hoï-Cho said in a firm voice as he glanced over at Dak’Cove.

“The Matis will help us when their home is endanger they will help us in the fight, but first you must gain strength of a Fryos warrior. Windra, Aqua, Le’Bele you three are the mage Guardians so I give you three the Seal of the Zorai. Ga’Lorda. Sa’Binga I know you two have the Seal of the Tryker.” Hoï-Cho explained.

“Wait seals?” Le’Beka asked.

“Yes, every race has a seal they give they give to masters of their key skill, surprisingly Trykers have mastered all skills but then again they are also a different style from the other races. Do you understand now?” Hoï-Cho explained.

Everyone nodded.

“Good.” Hoï-Cho said with a smile.

“Now if you will please return to where you stood so the meeting can continue.” Hoï-Cho asked.

The group bowed then moved to where they stood just as the Elders and the Tryker leaders reenter the room.

“After this I shall grant you three the seal.” Hoï-Cho told Windra, Aqua, and Le’Bele as everyone took a seat.

“Thank you Grand Sage Hoï-Cho” They replied.

“Now let’s continue.” Hoï-Cho said as the last homin took a seat
