I was getting these Access Violations on login not sure when you gusy are getting them? After talking with support for three days (a pleasurable experience I must say ) I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it works fine now. You might have recieved a bad file on downloading one of the patches?

I'm having the same problem.I'll tried just about everything and a reinstall does nothing. I'm getting pissed I guess I'll just wait for everquest 2 to come out. These games should learn a lesson dont release a game thats not done. This is nowhere close to being complete
Re: Same access violation over and over.. Any fix?
I was having this problem in yrkanis, I switched back to D3D (ati 9600) and it went away. I'm using openGL again (runs better), but I haven't been back to yrkanis so I don't know if the problem still exists.

This is a network error. If you have a router read this. If you are running any software firewalls, system protection suites, virus scanners or any other program which may affect your computer's network access disable them. If this fixes the problem, reenable your software until you find the program which is causing the problem then configure it work with Ryzom. Instructions for doing so are much the same as for a router and can be found here.

Its Ryzom, which is crashing, not the router, so I dont think its a network problem, perhaps more a problem with Ryzom's network handling,
and yes I have the same problem, usually in Trykkerland near sea and its
really annoying.
Re: Same access violation over and over.. Any fix?
I have had the same problems recently. Uninstalled, and reinstalled, followed all the tips on router config... All with no joy. If my lacking memory serves me, it started happening after the last patch files that the client downloaded... where there any changes made regarding traffic handling?
And yes, I tried disabling AV and FW software... even bypassed the router completly. (Yup... i ran completly nekkid while connected... no firewall what so ever) Seems to happen every 2 hours or so for me in less populated areas, quicker in more populated areas. Possible memory leak?
