Atomos is back!

The sunlight hurt my eyes as i slowly regain consciousness, after a long rest somewhere in Maiden Grove. I dont really remember what happened, i ache all over, and my armour looks to have seen better days - What happened to me, was i dead?

As i came too, brushing the dirt and leaves from the contours of my armour I could hear the distinct and instantly recognisable whimpering of a torbak nearby, i need to move fast. After getting my bearings and checking my well worn and almost illegible map, i collected my very patient and trusty steed from not too far away, im amazed it was still alive after all this time - he seems bigger or is it my imagination?

I rode home to Zora, things seem to have changed quite a lot, no familiar faces, even the guards seemed different, more energetic somehow as they moved around with urgency - not like the good old lazy days i remember. The general population were going about their own business - too busy to speak to me as has always been the way.

I made my way home , our house looked derelict and was empty - My family has abandoned me, im lost...and alone, how long have i been dead for?

I approach the Kami nearby who scowls up at me, Why i wondered, the Kami and the Zorai used to be bonded as one, but he tells me i have become Neutral in the struggle during my absence and that ill have to prove myself over again to be one with the kami once again....Even the heroic tales of the mighty Kami warrior Atomos couldnt stray his mood.

Confused and Bewildered i purchased a pact from him so i could return home, then chanted the Kami pact i had in my bag to travel to Pyr, i always felt at home in the desert for some unknown reason.

As my body re-materialised i spotted a Matisian Master Mellee Weapon smith and rudely asked him to forge me a sword - i never was too good with people, especially the Matis. He smiled and agreed to make me a sword. He made me a fine Tryker Weapon, how the little fellows wield such fine weapons ill never know!

After a few confident swings of the sword, i knew instantly this new blade felt right for me, i offered some dapper for the sword but this fine fellow let me have it as a gift. I thanked him and was on my way.

Perhaps it is just me but the desert didnt seem so dangerous as it once seemed to me, i saw a bunch of bandits up on the hill and thought to myself, seems like a good oppertunity to 'brake in' my new blade - I slaughtered them all like wild gingos.

It felt so good as my blade sliced right through their limbs, as they screamed in pain, begging me to stop, their blood streaming down the golden sands.

As i took the dapper from their still twitching bodies, memories of endless battles filled my mind, horrors which would make even the bravest of Fyros warriors tremble in fear. I remembered the vow i made to destroy every last Karavan on the planet, i remembered the battles with friends at my side, i remembered what the Karavan scum stole from me.......something that can never be replaced...........

With a refreshed thirst for Karavan blood, i decided im going to prove myself, once more to the Kami and......to myself........

Atomos is back!
