2 Days in and so far so good...

Post by deaygo »

Finally got the game downloaded and updated monday, played about 8 hours total for the past 2 days and i have to say, this game has proved itself ten times over in that short amount of time.

I've played EQ, FFXI, WoW, DDO, Gemstone(online text game if you know it, the best i've played out of the 5) and so far this is the first game where i could actually accomplish something without having to kill anything straight from the get go...simply amazing!

As of right now, my fighting skill is only raised due to the fact that

1> i've gotten agro from some nasty ragus while harvesting for the Crafting quests

2> "............" for the harvesting quests :)

That alone has made this game so far ahead of the others. The graphics are amazing, the flow and the authenticity of the world just add to it, I thought I saw a bodoc lick me while i was standing around his herd, maybe he was just happy to see me, he did "moo" alot heh :)

I read the forums for about 5 hours straight waiting for the download/update to complete..(should've bit torrent'd it from the beginning) and even the forums are a nice change finally. I bet flaming someone is only used in regards to "fireballing" someone to death in PvP lol...

All in all this game is amazing and thats just the free trial newbie zone which I know is completely different from the game, and the thing is thats the best part...get all your your mission heavy grinding tendencies out of the way and make it to the mainland (hopefully next week i'll have the full version to make my way there myself) and finally play a game that you do just that, play!

I will admit i'm no roleplayer, but the way this game/community seems, I can find myself slowly slipping into it, my character speaking as that happy go lucky tryker 'toon who is making you think a crazy ragus is behind you while bitting at your ankles.

Well thanks for reading/replying to this long winded post, wont lie, just got back from a kaereoke(spelling is completely lost to me) bar and definatly in a great feel good vibe! All straight from the heart, wish i would've not wasted my money on any other game and found this one sooner!!!!

I've played about 10 days now, and only just noticed that the palm trees, when it's windy, all lean and flutter in the same direction of the wind...

There are so many little details like that... it's just amazing :)

Welcome Aboard, both y'az.

deaygo: I do believe that you've already got the "full version" of the game when you downloaded the trial offer.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this but all that's needed to continue your game outside of newbie island is to sign up and start payin the monthly. I dont believe there's any additional game purchase cost involved, nor any additional downloading.

I could be wrong tho. So if you dont get a solid answer here you can download and install the "klient" which is an IRC (internet relay chat) program that puts you in direct contact with the GMs. It's part of the real time, 24/7, tech support system for this game. It's also where we all tend to hang out on the rare times of server downage.

I started on the free trial as well, paid 12.90 Euro, and I could teleport to the mainlands...

well... I haven't actually seen my credit card report yet, but as far as I was informed, I only paid for the first month. :)

i usually leave the lottery to the people that can afford to spend money on pieces of paper with bubbles you fill in, (ironic seeing as how i pay 15 bucks a month to play a game heh) but i believe its 1-100 and its 10 numbers, could be off though, never played!

well, of to play the game i go, got some more prospection quests to finish woo!
