I need a biased opinion!

I know the thread name sounds odd, but i really need someone's Biased opinion.

I've been reading up on a game called Roma Victor, and it sounds really cool, but i also really like this game. I can't decide on which game I want to play, since I can't afford both.

Ryzom! But you might as well give Roma Victor a try when/if they have a free trial. Then you can have your own biased opinion.

Ok, I'm going to give you some pros and cons of Ryzom to think about:

* Ryzom is a great game;
* Ryzom is an amazing game with a equally amazing community;
* Ryzom is a very very good game and
* there are Yubos in Ryzom.

So, summing all this up it seems you should go with Ryzom and probably forget all about that Roma thing.

Umm, this is Ryzom related. But let's just not get started...

dont know anything about it, but "Roma Victor" sounds so antiquated and 2 millenia ago...
Ryzom, on the other hand, has won awards for originality of concept etc..
I have never been in favour of poking someone with a pointy stick if there was a "high tech" option instead, but Ryzom gives you the option to choose for yourself

I was in the Roma Victor beta a while back and unless they have done a lot of work to improve the graphics and gameplay I'd definitely say Ryzom is better. That should probably be expected somewhat though, as this game has been out longer. But try them both and see for yourself, that always works best.

Don't talk rubbish, of course this thread is about Ryzom. He's asking for our opinions on why he should choose RYZOM!

You're the only one who's posted off topic. Really gets up my nose when people make posts like this. Worse kind of forum snobbery.

Reasons to play Ryzom:

Beautiful graphics - check out the sunsets in flaming forest if you don't believe me.

Superb mob AI - check out how the carnivores circle their prey after a kill for a start.

Free gameplay - you can do anything you want to do; craft, dig, hunt.

Great community - well apart from the odd one or two.

Great CSR - how many times have you submitted a ticket and NOT got a response within minutes?
