"Nothing...nothing...nothing, I don't understand!" I cried.

"There must be something." Jen said as she flipped back through the pages.

"It's not that easy to understand the guardians, the power of guardians comes from many factors and heart is one of them." Syno said as he walked into the study.

"We came so close to dieing that last, what must we do to master our powers?!" I snapped at Snyo but I quickly appulgesed.

"Aqua, Jen come here and look at this painting." Snyo said as he walked over to a grand paint of a group of homins, there were nine homin and three little ones. Two of the homin were in their old age and the others were in mid-adulthood. They were standing in front a gaint alter....the Alter of Nexus.

"Can you tell who these homin are, I'll give you a hint look at the ones with the childern." Snyo said in a warm voice.

"No way....no this isn't right...you mean our parents were and they did really die?" I stammered for words, then Jen saw a sight her mother next to Be'Cona.

"Aye those childern are Windra, Le'Conda, and you." Snyo replied.

"Ok but was this have to do mastering our powers?" Jen asked after she drew her eye away from the painting.

"Nothing really I just wanted to show you." Snyo snickered.

I wanted to yell but Snyo stopped laughing an spoke again as he walked to the grant sphere.

"Don't worry about your power you have the homins of Atys, the Karavan and Kami, as well as Jena and Ma-Duk behind you. You will stop the Darkness I promise." Snyo said in a warm voice, I could almost see a smile behind that black mask.

"Lets go eat." Jen said as she walked out of the study. I thought for a moment then followed her with Snyo behind me.

"Hey mister what are you doing?" I hear a voice say from behind me. I turn to see a young Zoraï boy running towards me.

"Hey,What are you doing out here?" I say to him suprised that he was out this far from any towns.

"I live out here by myself." He says sadly. "You're the first person I have seen in a long time."

"Wow, really?" I say still suprised.

"Yep." He says as he sits down.

"How do you survive out here with all the Najabs,Gibbaïs and Gingo's around?" I say as I sit down next to him.

"Hey I might be a kid but I can take care of myself." He says with a laugh.

"So whats your name?" I ask him.

"hmm... They call me Darkstalker... Because I usually only move around at night when the creatures are less active." He says. "But my real name is Sen'chi."

"So which would you like me to call you?"I ask

"Sen'chi is fine" He says. "What is your name?"

I smile .. "My name is Redslayer... But my friends call me Red."

"Can I call you Red?"He asks looking up at me.

"Yeah" I say with a smile.

"Can I camp with you?" He asks.

"Sure" I say with a smile

"ok!!" He says "I will be right back." He says as he runs off... A few minutes later he comes back..."I got my stuff!" he says with a slight laugh.

"Heh ... Ok I camp right over here." I say as I walk towards my packers and mount.

"Ahh cool." He says as he starts to pet my mount.

I Just smile as I make my camp area a bit bigger so he can fit his stuff.

A few hours pass and it gets dark....we sit by the camp fire and start talking...

"So how did you end up out here?" I ask.

"I don't remember."He says lowering his head. "Iv been here forever it seems like."

"Ah... Do you have any reason to stay here?" I ask

"Nope... But I have nowhere to go." He says. "But I have learned some things to keep myself safe." He says as he looks at the fire.

"Really?..Like what?" I ask.

"Well.." He says as he stands up. "Like this." He says as he blast the wall near us with electric.

"Oh... Nice." I say as I stand up.

"Yeah... It keeps the Gingo away from me atleast."He says.

"Heh...So can you use any weapons?" I ask him.

"Only my spear ... But I only use it to hunt food."He says...

We sit and talk for hours untill he falls asleep ... and then shortly after I fall asleep too...

I stood in the garden starred into the twilight and wondered, so the tale I'm writting isn't that old, the first Aqua and Windra are SenAqua and my parents, but who did they marry?

"Could they have married past selves..no that's silly." I thought outloud.

"Windra?" Jen'Moda asked as she walked up behind me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I'm confused if my mother married Be'Cona, then who is pappa?" She asked me, I noticed she looked around to see if we were alone.

"I'm not sure, I'm still confused about that painting too." I said with a slight laugh.

"When did you see the painting?" She asked.

"After I finished my training." I laughed, then both of us broke out laughing.

"A laughing party and you didn't invite us?" Cin'Lone asked with a brow raise and all the other guardians behind her and our spirits.

"What umm no ummmm I wonder what Red is doing?" I asked not sure what to say.

"I'm sure he's fine." Aqua and Le'Conda smiled as they gazed at the night sky.

Everyone nodded.

"So what were you laughing about?" Cin'Lone grinned.

I looked at Jen and she looked at me and we broke out laughing.

Everyone else just looked at eachother with confused looks. This just made Jen and me fall over laughing.

"Weird." Cin'Lone said.

"Well Windra's ok." Aqua laughed.

"I'm confused?" Le'Conda said completely confused.

"Join the club." Cin and the spirits said as they watched us laugh like mad men.

"RED!!!" I hear Sen'chi shout...I open my eyes and look over at where he was sleeping.

"OH!" I shout as I jump to my feet... Sen'chi was cornered between the wall and 6 Gingo's ..

"HELP!" He shouts as he tries to back up more and the Gingo draw closer... I grab my sword and attack... With one slash one falls to the ground ... but another jumps and tries to bite my neck... I block it with my arm but its teeth sink deep into my arm...

"RED!!!" Sen'chi shouts as a Gingo attacks him.

"Gah,Get off me you stupid creature!" I shout as I slash the Gingo that had ahold of my arm... I lets go and stares at me...I try to run past but 2 more Gingo's get in my way ... I charge thru them, As I get to wear Sen'chi was I saw him lying on the ground ... "NO!" I shout as I slash the Gingo closest to him... One of them bites my leg and another my arm...I fall down on my knees ...

"Gah ... GET OFF ME!!!! AHH" I shout as I transform ... All the Gingo's are blasted back a few meters... I turn to face them ... They start moving to surround me ... I charge my sword with the power of wind and fire....

"Bring it on you stupid things." I say calmly.They all charge at me... I swing my sword and don't hit any of them ... But the blast of fire it releases kills them all and they fall to the ground...

I return to normal and fall on my back ... All the bites were bleeding badly ... "Hey Fei ... I could use alittle... help ... "I say then I fall unconscious...

I ran my hand over a row of books on the leftwall bookshelf of the Univeral Study, it was another sleepless night. After dusting off several books a found a book that told about all the guardians. I flipped through it until I found the first Windra's chapter. I starred his image for what seemed like hour, I hated the very sight of it.

"Who am I!" I cried as I shut the book. Everything was upsidedown, my father, my true father was the first Windra.

"Jena...Ma-Duk I know you can hear me! Is this some kind of joke? Who are we!" I cried to the ceiling.

"Windra." Le'Sindo said as he appearred behind me.

"Get away from me!" I snapped in a demonic voice, Le'Sindo back away at this.

"Windra, what's wrong?' Le'Sindo asked.

"That!" I boomed as I pointed at the paintings of the past guardians.

"Le'Sindo leave us.... this is our problem." A sweet voice and a wise said.

"Um, what about Windra?" Le'Sindo stammered.

"Please leave us." The sweet voice said.

"Yes." Le'Sindo said as he vanished.

"Windra have a seat, we'll try to explain this as best we can." The wise voice said.

I took a seat and we began to talk.

When Le'Sindo was gone silence fell over the study, I wasn't sure what to say, I did want answers and I would when fight the gods on if I had to.

"When I was young I beleived that you two would be our protecters, I fall into that bloody war and now I find out I'm not real!" I snapped in the demonic voice.

"Windra you are as real as anyone here...."Ma-Duk tried to explain but I cut if off.

"Real...Real! How can I be real when Windra is my father!" I snapped.

"You are nothing like your father, do you even know why he named you Windra." Jena asked me in a sweet voice.

"I don't care about that Kittin scum he left me and my sister!" I boomed trying in Spirit Beast form.

"Windra named you and your sister after them when Aqua died." Ma-Duk said in a sad voice.

"What?" I asked in a calm voice, I left something in my heart sink when I heard why.

"When you two were very little, Aqua fell ill, she knew she had little time to live so she forced herself to live till your birthday..." Ma-Duk explained but I raised my hand to stop him, tears were rolling down my cheeks.

"I know that day very well, mom was bed bond and I remember she asked us to come see her. Dad was on her bed he had in pendent in his lap as did mom..." I said crying like a baby.

"Windra please don't contuine it's ripping you apart, I was hard for you when you learned that Aqua and Windra weren't brother and sister after all just close families." Jena said in sad voice as she came over and hugged me, then Ma-Duk whipped my tears.

When Jena let go I walked over to the painting and starred at my mother and father.

"I forgot what happened all those years ago, please forgive me!" I begged.

"Of course we forgive you, you're my son." A sweet loving voice told me.

"I'm sorry we left you but who do you think is your beast spirit." A male voice said with a slight snicker.

"I'm glad you you are always with Aqua and I, I don't know why I lost it?" I replied with a slight laugh.

"It's ok we'll hold you till you fall back asleep my son." My mothers voice said as I felt two beings hug me.

"Thank you, I love you both, mom and dad." I said with smiled with a warm heart.

"Thank you Ma-Duk, Jena, we'll take it from here." My parents said as I fell sleep.

"I's our duty to help our people in anyway we can." They said in a warm voice before they vansihed.

"Sleep well Windra, Aqua, remember we'll always be with you." My parnets told me and I sure Aqua heard them as well.

The night started to make itself noted as the wind turned from soft warm breezes
to a bit colder. They were still sitting there at the edge of the bridge,
Drakfot was staring out at the water while trying to sort her mind about what
had happened. Ever since that day when she and Banestar had found Redslayer and
he had ended up in a tragic state to how his friends had gathered around him to
help him on his way back. It seemed as this had been the start of something
large, something that was not to be grasped in just a moment.

Banestar mumbled a bit as she moved still sleeping and it caught Drakfot's
attention. This poor Homin Banestar, she had gone through so much in such short
time and it must be a pain for her. It could be noted on how much she was
straining herself and who could blame her as her child was in danger, had been
since that first day and now was missing. Still there was something telling her
that he was fine. But where would they go from now ?

It seemed as the night would carry rain with it as the clouds grew heavier and
the sky became darker. A Tryker rain was often a pleasant thing, but perhaps
tonights rain could be of a different kind. Who could really know as so many
strange things had happened recently.

"Banestar, come my friend lets find a roof to spend the night under. It seems to
be rain." Drakfot said as she took Banestar's arm and gently lifted her on her
feet.

"uhm... wah.." Banestar said, she was still very drowsy and wanted to sleep some
more.

Even though the times were rough it was a good thing that Banestar wished to
sleep Drakfot thought. When she had first met her in Fairhaven she had been
trying to focus on other things and had little sleep if not none at all and was
rahter the mess. It had almost scared Drakfot to see her suffer in such way.
But now it seemed as she was somewhat returning to a more controlled self.
They both walked along the bridge towards the meeting house which was located
not far off Frogmore Lane. The merchants around was packing up their goods which
was not lying under a roof and prepared for the rain to come. It had already
started with a few gentle drops that fell from the sky spontaneous.
They reached the lower level of the house but Drakfot decided that they should
walk up one floor. Well up they sat down, Banestar had woken a little more
during the short walk but she was still sleepy.

"I am sorry to disturb you my friend, but it seems as the rain was rather cold
this evening." Drakfot excused as she sat down next to Banestar.

"Mmm, its ok, it was cold." She replied. "Lets sleep now."

Drakfot smiled a little, it seems as Banestar still was determined to find her
son and that she had realised that it could not be done withough some good
sleep. During all time on Atys one grows and learns and Banestar surely had
grown much just during the last few days. What she had said was to release the
worries for a night in order to rest well and be prepared for the day tomorrow.
It was very wise Drakfot thought as she closed her eyes while listening to the
gentle rain falling on the roof above them.

As my eyes start to focus slowly,I ask "Wha..where am I?" My eyes come into focus and I look around..."Oh,Sen'chi" I say to myself. But as I look around I don't see him.

"Hmm about time you woke up." I hear someone say from behind.

"huh? YOU!" I shout as I jump to my feet.

"We have taken your little friend hostage La'beka." Gen-Laï says as he faces me.

"Where have you taken him!" I shout.

"Calm yourself La'beka,there is no one here to save you this time."Gen-Laï says with a grin.

I form my pike..."I wouldn't do that La'beka... If you want to see the boy alive."Gen-Laï says.

"What do you want?" I ask as I let my pike vanish.

"Oh not much La'beka,Just the location of the other guardians."Gen-Laï says with a smile.

"Never!" I shout.

"Then the boy will die,as will you... and your mother... And Jaz." Gen-Laï says with a grin.

"Jaz is already beyond your reach... As for my mom you won't live long enough to hurt her." I say as I transform.

"You fool,you couldn't even beat those Gingo's without almost dying." Gen-Laï says laughing.

"I let them get the advantage... The same wont happen again." I say as I draw my sword and it changes into the Atys blade.

"You insolent worm... I have had enough of you."Gen-Laï says drawing his pike.

"Don't worry,I'll make your death slow." I say as I look at him with a angry look.

"Ha... Bring it on La'beka." Gen-Laï says still laughing.

"The name is Redslayer... And I have learned that my strength does not come from training..." I say with a grin.

"Hmm?"Gen-Laï looks at me confused.

"Lets see how you do this time!" I say as I charge at him...

As my sword meets with his pike a blast is sent in all directions and a bright flash of white fills the surrounding area. We both stumble back,Then he ports to me and goes to stab me... But I disappear.

"Oh... Very nice..." Gen-Laï says as he stands up strait.

"Heh,thanks." I say as I stand up strait. we both stand there for a second with our backs towards each other ... It slowly starts to rain...

"Hmm... This should be fun" Gen-Laï says... Then he turns around and attacks.I dodge and spin around and knee him in the stomach. He comes back and tries to hit me with his elbow,But I block and jump back. He launches a A mixed spell electric and fire at me ... I cut through it with my sword...

"Hmm... using regular ele eh ?" I ask Gen-Laï.

He laughs. Then attacks again. As he swings I block and the turn my sword to fire and wind.I swing and fire spreads in a 50 meter range in an arc in front of me and burns everything.

"Not bad."Gen-Laï says as he stands up with his armor burnt and smoking.I just grin.

"Time to die!" He says as he slams his pike into the ground. And then launches a huge blast of Dark ele at me...the blast hits me and it explodes...

Gen-Laï starts laughing... "I told you I would kill you".

As the smoke clears he sees that I am still standing.

"WHAT! IMPOSSIBLE!" He shouts. "No one has ever survived that attack!......I never thought I'd actually have to use my full strength."

"Hmm?"I look at him confused.

"Oh did you think I was trying?"Gen-Laï says as he starts laughing.And an aura surrounds him.

"Oh man... I wonder If I will be able to beat him." I think to myself.

He laughs.... " Now DIE!!!" He shouts as he charges at me super fast. I try to block his attack but he moves to fast... His pike cuts into my armor and into my side.

"Gah!" I shout as I stumble back... He kicks me and I fly back several meters and land on my back. He jumps in the air and goes to stab me.. But I roll out of the way. His pike stabs into the ground and causes it to split open. He then charges at me.. I try to dodge but he cuts my arm...

"Jeez .. He is so fast..." I think to myself... " I wonder..." I say.

Gen-Laï Charges at me again... But I turn into flame for a second and he goes right through me...

"Wha? How did you?" He says stunned.

"Hmm that uses alot of energy." I think to myself... I turn into fire and charge at him. I hit him and blast him with a huge wall of fire. He flies back and lands on his back... Then I launch a huge blast of fire at him again...The dust clears and he slowly stands up ... his armor mostly destroyed..

"That was amazing... You should join us..together we could rule Atys."Gen-Laï says.

"Never... I'll die first." I say

"So be it."Gen-Laï says as he charges at me. I turn to fire again as he swings but as I turn back he is already there with a second attack and cuts into my back... I slash him with my sword across his face at the same time ... Then I stumble forward and fall to my knees. He holds his face...

"Why you...." He says in a low voice...

"Bah... I can't win... But why ... I don't understand." I say to myself as I watch the blood run down my armor.

"Red." A voice says.

"What the!" Gen-Laï says as he stops.

"J...Jaz?" I say as I look towards where the voice came from.

"Red... You can win... I know you can... I am ok Red ... I am always with you no matter what." Jaz says.

"But I." I say but she cuts me off.

"No... I love you Red... I always will... Just because I am gone... Does not mean I am not with you."She says.

"But... I couldn't protect you ... And I..." I say...but she cuts me off again."Red... it's ok ...I am ok... You need to get back to your friends. They need you Red."

"I love you...I always will... Goodbye Jaz..." I say.

"I love you too Red. And I always will... Now ... Finnish this guys and get back to your friends!" She shouts at me.

"Yes ma'am" I say as I stand back up with tears flowing down my cheeks.

"Fool!"Gen-Laï says as he tries to stab Jaz but goes right through her.

"Goodbye Red." She says as she fades away.

"Good....bye..." I say crying.

Gen-Laï charges at me... "DIE!" He shouts. I turn into fire and he tries for a second attack again,but this time I stay in fire form.

"How!" He shouts. As I blast him with my dragon blast. He falls to the ground.he jumps back up and charges at me again.. I dodge he blast me with dark ele. It doesn't even effect me.

"How can this be!" Gen-Laï shouts.

He throws his pike at me... I turn to fire and let it pass through me... then turn back. Then I put my hands in front of me like I am going to cast electric...

"goodbye...Gen-Laï..." I say as I launch my dragon blast at full power...

Gen-Laï jumps up to his feet and blast back with dark ele. the two blast meet and a shock wave is sent in all directions.

"You wont win!!" Gen-Laï shouts as he pushes more power into his attack... It starts to push mine back...

"Red..."I hear Jaz say.Then I push every ounce of power I have left into the attack ...

"No!"Gen-Laï shouts ... "Kin-Daï!!Help me!!" He shouts. Then my blast hits him and explodes... The explosion is so big that it blast me backwards... I smash into a tree a few hundred meters away...

At the same time... Back at the temple.----------------
"Red..." Syno says.

"What,what is it?" Windra says.

"Its Red." Syno says.

"What! is he ok!?" Windra shouts.

"Yes." Syno says.

"Well what is it then?" Windra asks.

"He has finally accepted what happened..."Syno says... "I will go talk to him now,I will be back soon."

"Erm ok." Windra replies
