More advanced graphics options?

Post by capnhulk »

Is it possible to enable Anti-aliasing or Anisotropic filtering? I found a configure.bat in the Ryzom folder but anytime I try to open it I get an error saying "nel_drv_opengl_win_rd.dll is more recent than the application." What does that mean exactly and can the configure.bat allow me to enable more advanced graphics options?

I run the game on all the highest settings and get a nice amount of FPS so I figured I should see if it can get it any better than it already is. :)

Don't think there are any in-game settings to trigger that but I didn't get any ill effects by manually forcing 4xAA and 16XAniso (some games have bad artifacts when doing that forcefully.)

There aren't any Ryzom settings for anti-aliasing or the like, but some video cards have their own software that allows you to enable it. My own card is like that and it works great. So you might have a look at the website of the make/model of your vid card to see if you can turn it on outside of the game.

Hmm...would be interesting to see Ryzom with anti-aliasing...
