I remember Dardis as a homin who was always willing to help out. I had the fortune of spending some time int he same guild as him, and I will always remember those days. In fact, it was he who introduced me to the guild I'm currently with!
Dardis was a great person in many ways, and I will miss him a lot. Atys feels a little more lonely now without him, but he is not forgotten. May Peace be upon you Dardis, ma'a salami ya sidiki.

Like many others, I never met Dardis in person. Mostly because I'm relatively new to the world of Atys.

Amidst all the sadness for his passing, there is one ray of light that shines out in this thread. The fact that there is a such a good community here that cares about him.

As long as we honor his memory, part of him will live on.

Rest in Peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him.

I don't remember travelling with Dardis, but I think I waved him a hello several times during my journey around Atys.

I wish the family has all the strength needed in this time. Dardis will always stay in our memory.

Unfortunately for me, I have never met dardis and will never have the chance again.

I am truly saddened by the loss of a fellow homin on Atys. I am sure he will live in our hearts forever.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends and may dardis's spirit lives forever in the memories of everyone he knows.

Like many guilds on Atys, Dardis spent a brief time with The New Empire. He played the game with enthusiasm and dedication and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
9 times out of 10, if you spent any time at all with Dardis in a team, you would end up with MAX DP, be that hunting or foraging. Sometimes that was frustrating, sometimes it was funny as all get out.

We extend our best wishes to his family. We are very sorry to hear of his passing.

Much love, Dardis.
The New Empire remembers you.

It wasnt so long ago that I was wondering where Dardis was, regional chat seemed so quiet in the flaming forest. I, like a lot of you, spent many hours pming him back and forth. It is truly upsetting to know that the light I reserved for him in my contacts shall never shine again, though that space will forever remain his. I liked sashtans post about him nuking with his pick, that brought a smile to my otherwise furrowed brow, as I also witnessed this spectacle, and feel somewhat privilidged to have done so. I think that that alone says alot about his character, his determination and drive in the face of adversity. A true warrior if ever I saw one.

My thoughts go out to his wife and family. Truly a sad day on atys. Another person who will be sorely sorely missed.

Rest well my friend

It is a sad day, I think I may be qualified to say that I knew Dardis probably the longest, so it's with a heavy heart that I am making this tribute to him.
I met Dardis after he left noobie island and was running around Pye trying to make up his mind on which guild to join, he eventually joined the same guild that I was in at that time"Order of the Dragon". It was a noobie guild with the highest lvl, been around 150 and headed by Morgraine. At that time we were both lvling melee and heal alternating between the two when it was necessary according to our team structure, he was making great progress when unfortunately the guild disintergrated and we had to seek membership in other guilds.
Though we went separate ways we were still in contact and he informed me that he had started his ele and was finding it diffcult to upgrade his equipment for the lack of dappers, I suggested that it would have been best to start foraging because it was the only way get quick dappers. He said he had tried it but was having some difficulty with it, he persevered and mastered the art of foraging in the desert though with great diffculty (constant blow up ) due to his disability which I had no idea he suffered because our friendship was based in game and not in RL.
Let us remember "Dardis" as a homie and an ardent player. He never gave up. For all the other players who may be in a similiar position to the way "Dardis" was, we would commend you for coming forward in advising us. It would give us the opportunity to understand your challenges.

I am sure Dardis is playing where ever he is and having a "great time "

May his soul rest in Peace

My Dear Dardis, you will be greatly missed and never forgotten. You were a true and great friend always wanting to help me and others level and even offering to do so out of team. Also, a great digging buddy, even if we did blow up a lot :) your company made any amount of DP worth while.

With Love,
Donaskmi
