Depends on whether you only count Arispotle, or if you count the total of all shards...
Jelathnia, Kasarinia, KianShi, Maethro, ShuaLi, and OPaxie (Arispotle)
TeiJeng (Leanon)

WAG: 1500 across all shards, based on the number of posts for the Arispotle map on frappr.com and the assumption that only a fraction of the Arispotle subscribers have posted.
Samar d'Naz - Homin, pure and simple.
Desert Nomad

Crafter, Digger, Healer, Bug Smasher, Grey Beard, Surrogate "Uncle" to the Dodgey Duo

TANSTAAFL (unless you're a newb trying to kill Master Kincher, then its YOU!)

It has to be higher than that. With one or two exceptions, an MMO that falls below 25,000 subscriptions is generally in trouble. At $15 / month per subscription, you need multiple tens of thousands of subscribers to be able to finance something like Ryzom. Game development is an expensive business.

Hi I am new to the game...just browsing over the forums whilst the game is down.

Do you really only pay $15 per month for your account?

I received an email the other day about continuing the game after the trial and payment...and I'm being charged double what you pay!!

I thought the cost was a little high...infact double any other subscription charge I have ever paid for a game??? But Due to packing in smoking recently I thought Ah well, I'll justify the high charge with the money saved on ciggis.

Now I'm not so sure...it certainly doesn't seem fair that the cost be doubled for me just because I pay in £ and not $

If some one would care to confirm this for me be for I mail support for some answers, I would be very gratefully.

P.S. Sorry to jump in on this post changing the subject...just first time I have seen anything about the cost.

Initially you pay for the actual game as well. I'm UK and my 3 mth sub works out around £21-£22 and I have a second account that I pay for monthly, thats just over £8. The longer you sub for in one payment the cheaper it is.

Description:
Recurring subscription - 1 month
Total cost (all taxes included): GBP 8.49

Am I really bothered about an extra 4p a month? :p
