I wondered why I could not hear him ask for a rez by the seeds spot in the forest when I hunt again there about a week ago...

Without you Flaming Forest will not be the same.... but in its ashes I'll always hear your call same as when I was a newbie and was getting my first levels there, and where you also have resurected me when our team got wiped. And in its bloom we'll know you are with us.

Good bye friend, may that other world where you are be kinder to you than this harsh so called 'real world'. We'll not forget.

I saw Dardis many times in and around Dyron.

He always seemed a nice guy. While he may have asked for a rez often, he was also always one of those rushing to rez others.

I saw Dardis in Dyron last night (guess that was you), wish I had read this then! :(

Deepest respect. This is truly sad.

You all have been so great, Dardis would openly be proud in life as he must be in his death.

When a person near and dear to us departs from us, how can we not sorrow? In order not to sorrow excessively over the loss of a loved one, we should consider that physical death also has a positive aspect. It brings man relief from his daily labors and from all the sorrows, illnesses and fears which fill our earthly existence. It is a passage to a better world, where eternal light shines, where the truth of God reigns, where there is no grief, and where the souls of the faithful find everlasting joy and peace.

O God of spirits and of all flesh, Who hast trampled down death, defeated the devil, and given life to Thy world. Give rest, O Lord, to the soul of Dennis Ardis (DARDIS), in a place of light, in place of green pasture, in a place of revival, whence all pain, sorrow and sighing have fled away. Forgive every sin committed by him, in thought, word and deed, in Thy goodness and love for men, O God. For there is no one who lives without sinning: Thou alone art without sin, and Thy justice is eternal justice, and Thy Word in Truth.

For Thou art the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of Thy departed servant(s), O Christ our God, and to Thee we send up glory, with Thy Eternal Father, and Thy all-holy and good and life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages of a never ending time.

O Lord, lay your hands on his wife and children, family and friends, give to them your blessing and touch of light to ease their earthly minds and do pierce their soul with love, wisdom and kindness that your servant Dardis has shown us on this day. And we ask these things in His name.

Amen.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice...

I was sorry to hear about Dardis. I had met him in the wayfarers guild. He was always willing to try things even to following me in to PR. He will be missed.

I, like some others who have written here, didn't know Dardis.
I'm from Leanon and gaiason(Shaolin) showed me this thread.

I hope, wherever he now may be, that he'll find some things he can enjoy, just like on Atys.
Losing a person you like is never easy.
Feilan took the words right out of my mouth, Dardis must have been a strong and remarkable person.

Rekyrom, I'm sure, in you he had a true friend one seldom finds.
I don't know you, I didn't know him, but in my thoughts I'm with you.

Go in peace, friend, may your journey be sa safe one.

May Dardis rest in peace. I never met him, and after reading about him, I feel it is my great loss. I hope that those who knew him and loved him continue to do so, even though he's moved on to another, better place.

My heart is saddan. I didn't know Dardis personally but it saddens me still to hear that a fellow homin has passed on in real life. My prayers and well wishes goes out to his wife and family.

Dardis will always be in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. Here is a poem I found that can better capture what I'm saying since I'm not good with words.

I Am Free

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there.I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
I am now free.
God bless
