Hi,
Just started yesterday, completely unaware of the patch that would knock the severs out for four days. Ho hum. Apart from that the game seems quite interesting. The graphics are good. The starting island seems a little dangerous for a newbie area, but I like a challenge.
In the past I've played Guild Wars, World of Warcraft and spent a short time playing Final Fantasy XI. I'd been considering trying a new game for a while, and last friday my WoW guild (a casual guild and the largest on the server) fell apart due to the fallout of hitting the raid based endgame. This hastened my desire to try something new, and I'd heard good things about this game from the forums at MMORPG.com.

I hope they give you another 4 days to try it out!
You might want to re-roll at this stage and try the new starter isle they've created.
