Hi and a question

Newbie here game looks good, got a question, I'm on the newbie island and i've taken the forage quest for Beng Amber and well im pretty weak and keep getting killled if I wander too far outside the outpost, am I missing something I keep prospecting but haven't seen beng amber once.

its really hard (near impossible) to complete that quest unless you have the luck of err a very lucky person indeed. prospecting for specific mats is generally not something i'd recommend until at least lv50 )

dont worry about not doing it, it doesnt affect anything later on by completing the mission or not.

as you may or may not have heard all the newbie zones are being scrapped as from monday and a new integrated area which is by all accounts a massive improvement will arrive when the patch is complete

Am I missing something I keep prospecting but haven't seen beng amber once.

If I remember it right, the Beng Amber is on all starter islands at the southern border. So the 'only' thing you have to do, is get there alive, and try to prospect near the cliff. But to make travelling easier, you may want to get some fight level first, or try to start anew, after the new starter isle is patched, at the end of next week.
