Trust me you may like it now but say in a couple months, let alone a year or two, the loot system will be the killer if it remains the same or is simply a small fix.
The system needs an overhaul. Equipment that drops on mobs should be useful in some way that doesn't involve selling for dappers or bringing to harvestors.
It can also be far more interesting. Now, tinpony, you may like it. I personally do not and I don't believe you'll get more votes in favor of the current system.
Like it or not only the fanboys praise the current system. So give me a very godo reason why I or many others who are already bored with it should like it besides. Oh I found supreme here or there. You found supreme, congratz, now how useful is that to you without having to go to a crafter?
Give me a break. The loot system sucks at this point. It needs to have alot of major changes. But cheer away; I might begin to think you are working for Nevrax.
So... based on your post, and others I've read... Fanboys are:
1. People who enjoy the game for how it is
2. Like the loot system the way it is overall
3. Don't believe any aspect of the game system is "broken" because they personally don't like it.
4. Don't attack Nevrax for every little thing they feel wrong with the game.
5. Don't predict the game's demise unless "item X", which they feel is broken (see #3) is "fixed" to suit them.
6. Understand that the game isn't perfect - that no game is - and that it all boils down to the individual, what they're looking for in a game, and if a given game provides what they're looking for.
7. Are willing to wait while Nevrax (or any game company) addresses a problem, instead of flying off the handle about it - especially when the game is newly launched.
Does that cover it?
If so, then call me a fanboy.
